You know that movie "Shallow Hal" where this guy sees this ultra fat woman as a really beautiful fine bodied lady because he was on something i think. After it wore away, he saw her as a fat ugly person but still loved her and thought she was beautiful. Moral: it's the inner beauty that counts

Shorter hair is easier to maintain; a paint a lot afterschool and do tech work and long hair gets in the way. No mos layers; I hate them.

But seriously, why do you need to create some sort of fake "thing" to make yourself and others feel better? What is that special thing you're looking for? I mean, anyone can go out and buy that crap britney spearss and j lo sell just to look the same. What is so good about that? Pop culture sucks, people. I thought you'd realize that a bit better than most people. Most girls who are considered hot in my school completely lose it when they open their mouth. It's either "omg...look at that." or "I'm too fat. I'm too ugly." or "I'm too good for you." What talent do they have? Oh wait a minute, they're too busy doing their hair and makeup to get a real hobbie. Let's face it; how many of those girls are going to be models? It's sad really. There are so many people out there who would have so much to offer if they didn't give up. I knew a girl who was amazing at playing the sax and she dropped because of marching band. Dude wtf? okay. done rant now. There are many gorgeous girls at my school who don't waste hours on makeup and hair everyday. They're my friends. And you know what beats all of that? You should meet them and I guarantee you'll fall head of heels for everyone of them.

FireKame is right, most of the girls who people think look erally good get caught up in it and care about stupid crap. Most 'hot girls' are not the kind of peopleyou want to be hanging around, it's be so boring and pointless. =\

I've seen some good looking girls in my day, and I'm afraid that she isn't one of them. Girl's really shouldn't be judged by their looks but their personality/inner beauty. I mean, there could be really really hot chicks in this world but they seriously have no brains. They could even be stuck-up whores or w/e. They could be like "plastics" just like those girls in Mean Girls.

Not caring what other people think about you is oh so very dangerous. It's a destructive path that can lead to either complete apathy to everything or else to some messed up midlife crisis'.

Everyone tries to think that all it counts is the inside. Everyone is a bit shallow. If you don't care about looks then that is a lie. You might care less than everyone else but you still care at least a tiny bit. Thats why I get annoyed when people go "OMG! Looks don't count! It is the inside" when they know themselve they care a bit as well.

First impressions count a lot. As much as we don't like it, looks matter. It's human nature to judge other people.

I'm strongly reminded by a quotation from some movie I saw:

'It's what inside that counts.'
'Oh, that's just something that ugly people say to make themselves feel better!'

Harsh. True in some cases, unfortunately.
