If you really think pot isn't as bad as anything else, why not get a huge group of potheads and have an intelligent protest/petition, and reasonably explain all these amazing arguments you seem to have. Instead of going against the law, why don't you try to change them? It would be the responsible, intelligent thing to do. I haven't seen a mass demonstration or anything supporting pot use that has made the news. I find when you are laying in bed, really sleepy and are finally getting ready to sleep is very relaxing. Or like after an exhausting exercise or something and you are in desperate need of water and when your lips finally touch that ice cold refreshing drink is a very feeling. Now it may not be as good as a high, but it is good enough. It's better not to know so you don't know what you are missing 
and just enjoy things you already enjoy.
