Sure, sounds fun.
Timeplitters-
Fast action fun. Its a really crazy styled game thats really fast, and required quick fingers. I like the huge amount of characters, levels, etc. The mapmaker is really fun too!
KillZone-
The opposite of TS in the genre. Its more of a realisitic game, where you feel like your in WW2 or something. The story has realistic effects in alot of ways, and the game is very tactical
GTA-
You never run out of things to do on GTA. If not a choosing from an endless supply of crazy missions, you can just go for a joyride, fly a plane, kill some people, do minigames, pull crazy drive-bys, and more. Never run out of things to do!
Half-Life-
Im an old skool fan, and obviously, half-life is pretty old skool. I think it was made 4 years ago. Well, anyway, if you arent picky and can ignore some of the flaws in the graphics, this game can be very fun. The story is endless and original, and unlike most games, you dont get bored of it. It also has some things like the Custom Co-op mission where you or you and a friend do a whole nother mission. Its very fun, and has alot of 1v1 levels!
FF-
The game has an endless story, and endless surprises. Im not your crazy RPG lover, but Final Fantasy just rules. It has a great story, and revolutionizes RPGs. FInal Fantasy 10-2's new constant system of fighting brings excitment to the battles! You can explore anywhere you want too!
Metal Gear Solid-
Wow, with its revolutionary stealth system and crazy graphics. (1-3) Theres nothing bad to say about it. I love the originality in this game, and my favorite part of this game. Is its deep story. Hideo Kajami (something like that) says that he likes to let the person who played this game feel... changed. Alot of people say it's like a movie, with it's extremely touching storyline, and extremely realistic system. In this game you dont lose once your spotted like some games either, if your slick enough , you can kill a few guards and hide. It has crazy original ideas such as hiding in a box! And dont forget about the interactiveness, see that ketchup bottle on that table? BOOM! Got it, now there is glass and ketchup all over the table. The only thing that disappoints me is that you beat the game pretty fast. But thats because they had to end it where it ended, and anyway, i play it over and over again.
i hope you liked my short reviews.
Hideo Kojima, man. It aint that hard to memorize (If ur asian)
Ka-ji-ma,Ka-ji-ma,Ka-ji-ma,Ka-ji-ma,Ka-ji-ma,Ka-ji-ma. I okay, i got it down.
Thats all you had to say about that review though!?!
Yea... he gave reasons. What now? Oh, and I also gave reasons why Halo sucks. I haven't heard any reasons why you think Sony sucks.
That's because they cant find any.
You do know that Half-Life was originally for the PC right? I think we should all give the PC credit for that game, not Sony!
Actually, I can find several reasons why Sony sucks. Remember the original versions of the PS2? They had all sorts of problems, like overheating and whatnot.
Secondly, Nintendo revolutionized with technology, but you can't say the same for Sony. Nintendo did rumble packs, wireless controllers, etc. long before Sony.
"Ka-ji-ma,Ka-ji-ma,Ka-ji-ma,Ka-ji-ma,Ka-ji-ma,Ka-ji-ma" Notice how Neiji spelled it Kojima, not Kajima.
Sony makes high-end technology, but there have always been better alternatives. Take some computer equipment for example. The keyboard sucks, so we won't even go there. The monitor is decent, and mine has lasted 3 years without a glitch, but my friend's Viewsonic is just a bit clearer. The drives aren't bad, but they aren't as good as say the Pioneer DVD drives. For speakers I'd go with Klipsch, Logitech, or Bose.
*Edit* Isn't it great how several developers have recently left Sony for Nintendo and Microsoft? I find it hilarious.
dont talk about ps2s overheating when the xboxes caught on fire!!!
Anyways, copy and paste is a funny tool. (kajima)

Nobody left Sony. They were going out of business *cough**Square-Enix**Cough* so they wanted to work for Microsoft cuz Microsoft only has money. THey can't make anything, they can only buy things...
So you're saying that Sony is poor?
Sometimes I wonder if you guys put the most basic thought process into what you say.
Oh well, I'll leave you to your petty consoles! PC > Consoles.

I got my PS2 a month after the US release ... I never had any problems with it at all up untill a few months ago ... when the slim PS2 was released. Since I was going to get the slim anyway, I was completely fine with trashing my old one.
Overheating? I left mine on for weeks sometimes playing certain games. Whatnot? The only other problem I remember heaing about is not being able to read DVD's or some shit. I've watched probably over 100 movies on the PS2 with no problems, and I've clocked in more gaming time on my PS2 than my PSO and all previous systems combined. (though some of the games were PSO)
Though I did hear about other people's problems, but they never got an X-Box ... they just got another PS2. Though most of my friends have both a PS2 and a Gamecube, or just a Gamecube. I don't think I know anyone with an X-Box, though I've heard about their share of problems. I heard a lot more about X-Box's not reading any type of disc (dvd or cd) than the PS2 not reading DVD's. Class action lawsuit? Sony won theirs from what I heard and Microsoft is still suffering from theirs.

Squaresoft merged with Enix to make it cheaper to expand on their current selection of games and improve on their current ones (future FF games, you will see a major difference in gameplay in FF12), not because they were going out of business (back in '85 before Final Fantasy 1). Microsoft doesnt have money, all the lawsuits against them make sure of that.
Then how did they buy Final Fantasy... I mean Square Enix...
PC all the way. Though I would like to have something else too

What are you talking about? SquareSoft, or rather now Square-Enix, owns the rights to Final Fantasy. SquareSoft freakin' made the game.
But they're working for Microsoft now...
No ... they're making games for X-Box 360 now, which just means that X-box is the last system to get a game made by SquareSoft and Square-Enix. Where the hell are you getting your information?
...I'm making this up... Jk
I'm goin to IGN, but me has bad prollems wit reedingg..
Oh, playing the im-a-retarded-kid card? Whatever.
Jesus Christ guys. Lighten up! We're talking about video game consoles - snap outta it! You know what... just screw it. We all have to be whiny little incompetent nincompoops. So poo on you all for turning this thread gay.
It all depends on what are your game preferences that you would choose your gaming console.
This is based that all 3 new generation consoles will basicly just get a memory/computer upgrade and a new look, like it's always been.
I'm a fan of racing games, always have been since Mario Kart back in the SNES until GT4 and NFU:2.
Basicly the best console for racing games is the Xbox, Xbox simply wins hands down because of their controller. The Xbox xontroller was made for racing style games as opposed to PS2 and the Gamecube.
Xbox has the easy to find and push Right Trigger button, combined with the left analog stick, your hands will be free to do pretty much about anything. PS2 and Gamecube don't have this button so you are pressing the "A" or "X" button and that makes it harder to press other buttons.
PS2 is best for shooter games. This is because of the uniformly spaced controller buttons. Every button is easy to find and you'll never forget.
Unlike the Xbox whixh has the buttons at an angle, which takes more getting used to, and the White and Black buttons which can easily get confused. PS2 has everything in order, and the buttons you can't see are numbered so that it's impossible not to know. Gamecube has a different controller with all buttons in uneven shapes and distances, so it's easier to get confused in fast paced games.
RPG's belong tot he Gamecube. You can easily use the bigger buttons for the more important tasks.
So if you like RPG's go with Gamecube, Shooting games go for PS2 and racing games go with Xbox.
Graphics the Gamecube has the best. Gamecube has 3-D polygons instead of the pixels of PS2 and Xbox. It's not about what you see in the game that determines the best graphics, it's what it's made of.
Best Multiplayer at home. Xbox wins because of having 4 controllers and a wider variety of multiplayer games than the other 4 controller console.
Best Online Multiplayer is Xbox. Xbox-Live has the widest variety of games and support than the other consoles. I've never seen and I've rarely hear about Online games in PS2 and Xbox.
Widest selection of games is PS2.
Best DVD capabilities. PS2 and Xbox.
Cheap Gamer's console, Gamecube. By cheap I mean non-expensive.
Expensive Gamer's console, Xbox.
