Let's call it Deathknight Planet (like Deathknight Triggers, which ended up being EUD

).
Persephone can't work because Underworld is already referenced to: Pluto.
Anything would be better than Xena.

I like Bacchus and Vulcan as planet names, but the fact that the planet hasn't already been named after a Greek/Roman god/goddess may hint that they actually want this one to sound special.

Just call it Xeres or something already!

Um... Persephone was the chick that Hades stole. So it would be perfectly logical to name the planet after her
QUOTE(ShadowBrood @ Aug 9 2005, 11:24 PM)
No, nature AKA the spirit of the planet is called Gaia. Like the planet's body is called Terra, but it's soul and personality, if you will, is called Gaia.

Exactly.
QUOTE(chuOS @ Aug 10 2005, 12:22 AM)
To be exact it's 'mother of earth'. Our planet is also refered to as Gaia.

The planet is refered as Gaia when people are talking about the "Energy" of the planet. Terra, is the land. That's why if we Terraform something we are moving land

You can't Gaiaform something

QUOTE(ShadowBrood @ Aug 10 2005, 12:27 AM)
Gaia is nature... Spirit of the planet...

Again you are right.

Nirvana is originally from Hinduism and Buddhism though, so internationally few would know the connection with some American rocker.

And you are correct.
