She just got pissed off because I acted like I knew everything, which is toolish, and nobody likes a tool. I was just in the mood to ramble on like i did, like yesterday i gave a ten minute lecture on how taking showers instead of baths saves you valuable time in your life.

Calling you a kid makes me pissed off? That's pretty cool. mellow.gif

My choices aren't really rock in roll, I guess. Pink Floyd is Pro-Alternative/Progressive Rock, DOORS are Acid Rock, and I'm not sure how to classify Dire Straits.

^Spam, reported.

This topic is getting off topic very quickly. Almost everything from post #46 and down has nothing to do with it. We need to stay on topic. People if you haven't already, post your 3 favorite rock n' roll bands. Read the first post before you post.

QUOTE(guardien @ Sep 1 2005, 04:28 PM)
Rock eh? No one knows what rock is anymore. The best modern day rock songs in my opinion are:

Kryptonite - 3 Doors Down
I'f I die tomorrow - Motley Crue
Lyla - Oasis
Spirit of Radio - Rush
Mr. Brightside - The killers
All these things i've done - The Killers
Stargazer - Tea Party
Not ready to go - The Threws
Dead leaves and the dirty ground - The White Stripes
Fell in love with a girl - The White Stripes
The School of Rock - Jack Black
December - Collective soul

Here's Some of my all time favorite rock songs though. Also, AC/DC is nothing but pure ROCK!

All of these by AC/DC: Back in Black, Girl's got rhythm, For those about to rock, Dirty Deeds done dirt cheap, Highway to hell, It's a long way to the top, Money Talks, Rock n' roll ain't noice Pollution, Shoot to thrill, Thunderstruck, TNT, Whisky on the rocks, Who made Who, and You shook me all night long.

Born To Run - Bruce Springstein
Hey you, I don't wanna work, Takin' care of buisness, and you ain't seen nothing yet all by BTO
White Room - Cream
Smoke on the water - Deep Purple
Pyromania - Def Leopard
Layla - Derek and the Dominos
All right now - Free
Sweet Child of Mine - Guns n' Roses
The number of the Beast - Iron Maiden
Purple Haze - Jimi Hendrix
Rock and Roll - Led Zepplin
Stairway to heaven - Led Zepplin
Turn me loose - Loverboy
Bat out of hell - Meat loaf
Hero of the day - Metallica (one of they're few ROCK songs)
Black Betty - Nazereth
Another One Bites the dust, We will rock you and Under Pressure By Queen
Let the good times roll - The Cars
Hotel California - The Eagles
Life on the fast lane - The Eagles
The boys are Back in town - Thin Lizzy
Raise a little hell - Trooper
Dreams, Eruption, Hot for teacher, I can't drive 55, Jamie's Cryin', Jump, Panama, Right here, Runnin' with the devil, and you really got me all by Van Halen.

As we can see here, most people have lost true rock. Now its just lifeless songs, such as remedy by seether, no surprise by theory of a deadman, Many green day songs. Its rediculous, and they call that rock. There's always the same emotion in the songs today. Anger, popularity, so long and so forth.

Gotta love ACDC's "I've got big balls" (They are speaking of parties)

And I agree. Most "Rock" now days, is full of meaningless blam

QUOTE(Euro @ Sep 1 2005, 07:09 PM)
ok i'm talkign about electric guitars, not elvis.
If you want to know what i'm thinking, watch school of rock.

ACDC is as someone said, pure rock.
read before you post. Atreyu is a good band but Doesn't classify under as I said, rock during the era of ACDC, Van Halen, Led Zeppelin, etc.

Um... Van Halen would technically be categorized as Heavy Metal. But they kick ass so you can use em! ^_^

Pink Floyd - The Wall

Why do people keep saying The Wall is a song?! Its an album for christs sake!
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Kame on 2005-09-08 at 00:09:29
Because in the end it doesn't really matter, because we all know what we're talking about. What if he likes the entire album, hmm?
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Staredit.Net Essence on 2005-09-08 at 10:56:09
I agree.

There is no point in bickering over such a stupid thing. What if he likes the whole album instead of just the song like Kame has said?

You freak out over such irrelevant things man.
