A one in graphics? No. Those cutscenes blow some other cutscenes in mordern gaming. And when the devolpers acutally took their time with the game graphically (Meaning during battles, not just roaming around) it looks better than some games today. I'd give it a 7 at best but it's not under a 2. Also the character devolpement was plain and boring in FF7, cloud never said anything unless if it was to make some sarcastic meaniey remark. Barret always was complaining to cloud, tifa was like "meeeh badness!" and the other characters normally didn't talk much. Except Cid, Cid was cool. I liked FFX's story better, I can say this now because KiLLeR2001 won't see me post it and come to my house and rape me... ;o.
The whole commentary from Tidus during the game was really awesome, I wish it'd been in more games.

You can't judge a game's graphics on how good they could have been if the games designers worked really hard on them.
The game's graphics suck now compared to every modern game, and that isn't debatable.

I said when, Dork. Meaning when you weren't in battle they sucked and when you were they were good looking cause they acutally tried unlike in other places. There was no "could". As for your second line it is debatable, GTA's graphics aren't that pretty, they could be beat out by FF7 in certain sequences.

Well, you can compare two scenes by the amount of polygons used in them. However, what you deem good or bad is purely opinion.

You can look at your hand wiggle for 10 seconds. Or you can watch 10 seconds of a FF7 scene. Which is more detailed and has better "graphics"? The hand obviously. Which is more interesting to look at? That's your call.

Well here's two interesting objects, you can decide which one looks better, but I would suggest the FF7 one since it doesn't look like crap.

You can't take a crappy game like that and use it to represent modern day graphics either.

So I'd like you both to explain how debating that topic relates to the PSP vs. the DS.

The picture you gave looked pretty bad.
And I have played FF7, for a while. Outside of battle, you're a big polygon, in battle, you're a little less blocky, but that doesn't measure up to anything in modern games.

DS All out for me, PSP is retarded, it just wasnt ment for games. Its more of a portal entertainment system while the DS is an actual Hand Held Game. Plus its got more and better games.

Mario Kart DS looks superb and got a 9.5 on IGN, and it has WiFi potential.

PSP Just got owned. Just today a friend of mine (Major game geek, he knows about everything before its out) notified me that the DS can now play videos and music! All you gotta do is buy two things, the special hookup not big enough to get in anyones way and a specialy made graphics card. After that you can even watch Advent Children on it! Booyea!!! pwnt

Yeah all you have to do is buy 2 extra things and do a shizload of programming, man is that easy. And that doesn't change that DS' games suck ass and PSP's don't, if you think the main idea is that it can play movies you are sadly mistakened.

Not even that...its an official nintendo hookup, just pop it into ur comp load up the movies and music and your all set. And I dont think its all about movies, its always been about the games to me but this just owns PSP even more.

Oh poop what kind of people are you? You people actually think PSP is NOT better than DS? I mean COME ON! the PSP is definitely better than DS. Well.. Overall, the PSP is like a miniature computer and can download musics, movies, and other games from other PS series. Also you can download games from GB series too... How about DS? some lame touch screen and someone says, "oh new feature! DS rocks and PSP sucks." Well... I will say incorrect evaluation.

Maybe when a legitimate cellphone/handheld comes out, I'll buy it, but neither of these are really worth my money. I can get a better gaming experience buying 5 new games on my computer(Or I can DL them illegally for free) with the money for a DS, and I can get a brand new video card for the same amount of money as the PSP.

The idea of having it portable just flys completely over your head doesn't it.

uh well soon xbox 360 and ps3 and all that will take a lot of computer gamer's because now computer cant support the graphics and tech of game systems :\. Well you can make your computer super good but will cost over 500 bucks for sure

As much as psp is more advanced i think it isn't better.. you have to buy seprate dvds for its type.. I think Ds is way more fun and has mario and stuff. So all aroud ds is cooler but i would take a psp if i got for free.
