With the mp3's you showed, this can't get any better.

I finished the hunger system, I just need to do copy it to the other players and make the different values effect your stamina/health.
Stamina is now shown through the character's shield, while hunger is shown through the hp (reverse of what I planned).
The day/night seems to be working nicely, so I just need to add the morning and nighttime sound notifications. Production is going smoothly.
@PCFredZ: I won't really need help on the grammar and spelling for quite a while. When I finish with the story and have some dialogue between the characters, I will ask for help in that area.

Fwop for your Night system have ghost's ive been meaning to add this to a RPG of mine what it is is just once it hits the dark time a bunch of Dt's get created in some towns or in parts of forest's and they roam around.
you can either have them attack you or just let them Roam as a cool effect.

I love the whole pw recovery system also, I was wondering if you wouldnt mind me using it in a map I really want to make? (Its an RPG but it'll probably use a more simplefiled version of the code thingy ;D)
OK, I tested the latest version (v15) with Golden-Fist, who gave me some pretty good suggestions and comments. He is also now an official beta tester, too.
I am nearly 100% done with the hunger system, I just need to modify a few things, mainly for the people that just start playing.
Torches were added. When you approach one rather closely, you get the vision range of a scourge (which is what is being created and removed). The effect is only convenient at nighttime, which is still not that convenient in the first place.
I will be redoing some of the forest terrain, to make it a little less like your just wandering.

Not much of an update today. Changed a little bit of terrain and some other features you will never notice.
There was a small glitch in which the enemy would not attack. I am not quite sure why it happened, the only thing I can think of is sprite limit. Though, there aren't much sprites in the first place.
There also is a bug when the 9th digit on the code does not display, giving you only half of the code. I am still looking into the problem, and I think I know where to look, so should be easier to solve.
@Light_Aurora: I'd be glad to have some more help with the story and plot. Send me your AIM or MSN via PM so we can chat real time. If you don't use either of those we could just meet in Broodwar.
What makes this map wonderfully fun, is the fact that even though im finnaly strong enough to maim just about everything, is that you still have to eat and go outta your way even being a god. So you still have to be good to your char or he dies on you

Yes I did Light_Aurora. I will use some of the ideas you used and just change a few things around.
As for production on the project, I haven't done much on it for the past week, due to the recent February contest. Since I am finished with the map for the contest I will start back up on this where I left off on. Just check on the recent updates section on first post when I edit it.

LoL, yeh i saw a save/load system on Xuru (Check DLDB) And it rocked, and i can make em easy, i just dnt need to cause that defeats the purpose on my map... Lord of the Rings RPG1-2 and 3 needs a save/load

anyway i am gonna watch this map in production! it looks good!
@ Dyce: The save / load system works using one word: Magic.

All it is it just converts all the data from your character into death values then the code with all the characters on the minimap are the output. Then when loading it just converts the characters back into death values and apply to the correct place.
vM sort of died, so I just quit, along with a few other members.

By the weekend I will start up again on (like I said before). Just a few things to add and fix then I can finally start on the storyline as well as the other maps.
Yeah dude, when I was in vM I played a demo of this, but I didn't bother figuring out how the save/load thing will work, but don't you need EUDs to do it perfectly? And since EUDs are gone right now...Will it still work?
