Cloning human is against my religion
And whats the point? Make a body dat is souless
All its gonna do is just be there
If I was 18 i would vote for bush again for that reason

Well what if those "souless" beings could contribute organs to those going to die without them?

Plus, clones have brains and can think.

You are right. Bush is too stupid to understand the concept of cloning, so he archives what could be used very constructively for another 8 years.

What in the hell would be the point of spending thousands upon thousands of dollars, and to waist that vast amount of time, when you can take one cell of an organ, and clone hundreds of that organ, with just one cell?

Cloning humans is wrong. Especially if you're just going to use them as organ farms.

As far as I know, you cant simply clone an organ. The whole organism needs to be created...

It would be simple to clone a Liver. Take a chunk out of someone, and put it in a sterile environment that is like a human body and walla.

ROFL. And which butt hole was this theory pulled from?

EDIT : After investigating, this can be done.

Lots of stuff have to be done before a regular human can use an animal organ. You're going to have to change many factors inside the organ and many other data must be modified before you could let a human use it. And undoubtfully there's going to be a lot of sideeffects as well.

Well, my thought is...what for? If you just want a clone to do stuff, no, it's cruel. But if you're using a clone to be one of the helpers in Africa, sure go ahead. happy.gif

"Soul"? Is just a perception of humans. Clones can possibly have more soul than you could ever obtain tongue.gif
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Sie_Sayoka on 2006-02-22 at 23:43:36
well theres no reason for clones not to have a soul. twins have the same dna(they are natures natural clones) and they have souls(to the best of my knowledge) but there would be an issue about personal identity.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Lithium on 2006-02-23 at 05:17:16
iam sorry sie sayoka, twins don't have matching dnas. they look identical, and they think about the same. their fingerprints usually match too. every person has a special dna.

For me, I think cloning humans is just as bad as cloning pets...but may be worse...if we found the technology to do that...then probably the earth will die sooner. Cloning animals would be bad because there are already a huge number of pets out unadopted and itd make no sense to let them die off cause no one wants them. Back to cloning humans, what would you say about cloning an evil person?

Well since environment makes up a huge chunk of your personality, itd be no different than cloning a good person. smile.gif

wth

QUOTE
Examination of details such as fingerprints can tell them apart.

QUOTE
Identical twins have identical DNA but differing environmental influences throughout their lives affect which genes are switched on or off.

Teh Proof

Fingerprints are one of the only things that can tell identical twins apart(unless they are of differnt sex) no human has the same fingerprints. And twins would need the same DNA to look alike, after all DNA forms thier physical characteristics.

Nice Ad Hoc. I will show you how it is an Ad Hoc:

Nimadude's thoughts: "Because I have never heard of that happeneing, he is comming up with a theory"

If i'm not mistakened, is not an Ad Hoc against the rules?

Or maybe it's an Ad Hominem, which is what you also did.

Ad Hominem: "And which butt hole was this theory pulled from?" (Completely ignoring what I said, and attacking: Me.

Nice Ad Hominem. Also, against the rules.

PWNT!

Anyways: As I have said before, don't clone humans. It's just morally wrong.

Coming from the guy who always obeys the rules doesnt he? Saying the f word every other word.

What you said was something that not everyone knows about... and even though it can be done, it still has a lot of flaws, therefore making it obsolete.

You sir, need to learn the rules more than I do.

Well, soul really is a perception. besides. we could clone animals for artificial meat. tongue.gifP:P:P:P and we could clone people to like be astronauts or settlers of outerspace!
