I would do 14 degrees because after maybe an hour or two you would become hypothermic so you wouldn't sense jack. Shortly after that you would pass out. Rather painless except for the shivering and perhaps headache rather than being dehydrated to death.

humans are picky on the temparture of the environment they live around...if its too hot, we want it to be more cold and this goes the other way around...but either way if we get exposed to either one for a long period of time, that will be the end of us...
other living organisms are just as picky as us, while any organism will just do just fine in either room, and on the other hand they will just prefer one place.
try sticking a polar bear in one of those rooms

Well, try going outside of your house while wearing underwear. Go to your backyard if you don't want everyone to see and see how long you can survive.

I've always preferred to die in cold rather than intense heat. When I think of dying in intense heat I think of actually burning. That would be very painful. And even if it's just very hot and humid, it would be much more uncomfortable than being in intense cold.
Like others have said, eventually you would be all numb and wouldn't be able to feel anything.
