Thats pretty good, this brings me to another good idea

What is you Ideal Job?

Say what you would do, where, what would the pay be? (just to get an idea)

I would Make and Play games that I made for computers! I would get Paid 3000 a week (flat fee) get 4 weeks off for vacationing. All together this would be $144,000 a year which a $6,000 christmas bonus! Haha $150,000 a year is very much what I would like. My parents combined make just under $60,000 a year and we do fine. Those of you who want to make million a year, thats fine too. I set dreams that are possible for me to get to. But others may do the same!

$150,000? In your dreams. A lucky tester for a game company gets $15/hr.

The key money maker would be that I make the games, to perfect the games I would play/test them, that is what I was getting at. I know no game player makes 150,000 a year. If I made a game it would make me a huge money maker!

true, very true indeed, since most kids/people do it for free! biggrin.gif

Unless you are very mean and charge your friends a five buck entry fee to play a game on your PS2/XBOX etc.

Starting rates are $8 - $12/hr, so take $12/hr x 40 hr/wk * 52 wk/yr = $19,200 anually. Even at $15 it's only $31,200.

Sewage workers at our local water treatment plant get paid more.

They also have a harder job. wink.gif

I'm not saying it would be good as a career, but it's a good temporary job...

Currently Im employed at a lottery booth. $8.00/hour CDN . Fairly good paychecks, espcially when you can work as many hours as you want, really, because the people who work there don't want to work so that they can have free time.. So I usually just fill in for them whenever the're off. Good cash and it's especially easy. Most of the time I watch movies behind the booth, that's how incredibly not busy it is there! teehee.gif

Bleh, I'm just a trainee, started about 2 weeks ago, but I see what others do. Relativly my work is easy. I'm pretty lucky though. At Mcdonalds it's ALWAYS so freaking crowded but where I am there is only like 1 customer every 10 mins, and it is a popular fast food joint too. What do I do where I work? Register (hardest thing is learning the buttons, so many :S), serving the food and also the drive through register. What I don't do is cook or prepare the food or handle the microphone to take orders at the drive through. But it is a good feeling to earn money working, even if it isn't much.

Wow, that was alot of writing. /phew

EDIT: typos...
