Personally, the only times I've tried to tell someone that Firefox is better is when I'm speaking to one of my friends, and if they disagree I leave it at that.
QUOTE
Well.. considering there are sources there, I don't believe the information there was false.
Firefox is the best browser made.
SourceNow, my point here is that sources do not necesarily guarantee validity, which is true even if they, unlike mine, are factually correct.

BTW, Kow, I think they mention in there that "IE has it's fair share of security holes"
They don't, however, specify
how many -- and if you tell me that one is less secure than the other, and only give me the numbers for one, think I'm going to believe you right then and there?
QUOTE
It isn't successful, of the main browsers it's by far the least used.
Er, ya, the
"main browsers. Being classifiable as one makes it succesful.
to you.

I'd also like to add that the website you linked to doesn't say why the other browsers are better overall, it just lists specific arguments.
That's because the author isn't trying to say that the other browsers are better, it's simply a page for breaking myths.
QUOTE
Shouldn't that be enough to prove right there that Firefox is not as good as Opera?
Nope, because it's a matter of opinion.
QUOTE
Does that make an OS bad? I have ran my computer, with applications for over 11 days straight, and I don't crash... but the thing is.. why would you run it over 11 days straight.. There is a shutdown button for a reason.
If an OS can crash itself without user interference, then yes, it is bad, as that means that it must be poorly coded in such a way that it's trying to perform in some way random actions or simply has some bad coding.

If i remember correctly you have to install the flash plugin, shockwave player, and java runtime environment yourself. Plus IEtab for opening iepages and fasterfox just to get the browser to load pages as fast as its supposed to.
I installed Firefox. I ran it. I went to websites, and they loaded as fast as I liked, except when there were issues with the server they were on. I have very little trouble with incompatability so far.
I never had to install anything except a few plugins I liked. While I cannot view certain movie files, that's because I don't have Windows Media Player or something.
"If I remember correctly", Internet Explorer needs to have seperate utilities installed for pop-up blocking, anti-spyware/virus, and more. But until I actualy go and run IE and try it out, I'm not going to try to use that as an argument of Fx's superiority in regards to how long it takes to get setup.
