have u guys actully played dead rising?? i played the demo at my mates place yesterday and almost fell in love. Now i would call myself a bit of a wuss!! most zombie games scare the sh** outa me. (I hate the fact that your alone with nothing but ur wits and a shotgun to help you survive, somehow i finished Ressi evil 0 and 4 tho!!)
But Dead rising is something COMPLETLY different, the zombies are slow, you see a good 100 on your screen at a time... they are slowly surrounding you and your sitting there with a huge hammer smashing them to bits!! The fear of this game is almost non existant!! i picked a pie and shoved it in a zombies face making them completly useless, u can also do this with Cones!!! if you can make this map as addicting at that!!! ill eat my xbox!!

As someone who owns and has beat Dead Rising, I believe my sage advice would be helpful. Some important features from the game are (Your map is yours so these are just suggestions and facts):
1. Their is a security room only assessable to humans, (through a vent on mall roof) the security room is where all survivors are brought to be rescued.
2. Psychopaths; which are found whilst on scoop missions (side missions).
Are one of the main forms of experience (PP: Prestige Points). Their are about ten psychopaths throughout the game.
3. The max level which can be attained is 50.
4. Their are countless side missions (Scoops) which are started when you answer calls from the Willamette Mall janitor. Otis. Scoops are based on the current time and are usually escort missions (bringing survivors to the security room).
5. There are a plethora of skills that can be achieved in the game at certain levels.
6. There is a plot to the game involving conspiracies, Mcdonalds, and massacres.
Throughout the timeline of the game your mission is to investigate why the zombie outbreak happened.
7. There is a megabuster weapon. A real(lasers), and a fake(foamballs).
8. There is an underground tunnel connecting parts of the mall together. It is called the matinence tunnel.
9. Cars can be rode and are the ultimate zombie killing machines.

Okay, I for one love this game very very much. I have spent several (and when I say serveral I mean like 260) hours on this game and I still can't get enough of it. I was also making a map after this game but I can never find enough time to work on it. Anyway since it will be a long while before I can actually find the time to work on mine I wanted to help you out a little. From the looks of the weapons I assume that you are going alongside the game. Considering all the weapons you have named are also usalbe on the game. I've beaten all the modes (Infinite mode is a female dog !!!) I've unlocked all the achievments. Im lvl 50, So I know quite abit about this game.

Find other people in the mall ( If any survive by the time you get there ) and get missions from your concerned friends on your cell phone giving suggestions of what to do next... Find your own way of strategy to play this game, from staying in one spot and camping doing no quests, or doing quests, gaining score from the quests and completely owning the zombies with a stick or a chainsaw whatever suits you better, and please keep your hands on and at your weapon at all times during this long 24 hour ride. You are a photojournalist named Frank. Your enter the small town of Willamette via helicopter. Upon arivial you notice the town has been completely blocked off by the national guard. In a desprate attempt to capture the story of your life you tell the pilot to let you down on top of a mall, and you give him explicit instructions to meet you back on the mall in exactly three days.

I got the 360 over last weekend, and started playing, and i must say its fun. But im going to do some extensive care on the map because its messed up a bit. It might take a while ;D. BTW, my main comp's internet is down atm... for a while probably too so dont count on much sen activity.
