I'm sorry but there is no actual discussion other than people being creatively hilarious. Everyone with basic physics knowledge knows what light is and how a lightbulb works. All those sucking darkness statements are just plain stupid. sleep.gif

Fixed.

This is very Douglas Adams esque of you ;D

But do you have an equally D.A. esque explanation that explains how light reflects off a mirror? Mirrors don't suck do they? If they did, how come mirrors without lightbulbs don't suck? =O

PS: To everyone going "OMG! YOU IDIOT, EVERYONE KNOWS LIGHT BULBS EMMIT LIGHT!": You're all incredible dense.

The mirrors simply redirect the path of the darkness.

Since when does darkness have a path? =S If it did, given an infinite timeline, all darkness would eventually find a dark sucker (IE: A star). You're a crazy man Syphon, with crazy theories that don't make sense and don't all fit together. Leave our savoir, Kow, to tell us the answers to our cosmic questions.

PS: Maybe try not to quote the entire post directly above yours... it's extremly redundant and annoying.

It would, unless there was something in the way to stop said darkness, such as putting your hand in front and watching the buildup, as mentioned in the first post.

It only builds up because it's being sucked. Otherwise, darkness is motionless. It has to be pulled toward somewhere to move. If it could move freely, it would go around your hand, or bounce off it.

But mirrors reflect light why else when you go into a dark room and look into the mirror your pupils get bigger. Because of the lack of light. sly.gif

If lightbulbs suck in darkness, then how come the darkness comes back when you turn off the light? And according to http://home.netcom.com/~rogermw/darksuck.txt, darkness has mass.

Darkness, being a very dense, but light gas, will always expand to fill wherever it is, provided nothing is disturbing it.

Close, but you're way off. It sucked up too much darkness and imploded. And that's where the spaces in the rings of Saturn come from.

This also explains why the universe stays together, all of the moons that ever were, and that are now full, imploded, and formed invisible clouds of dark matter.
