Khaos point I was getting at that was he couldnt even say thank you for trying and samples are for ideas remember he said he would make it from a sample so our stuff dont have to be fancy and if he is so picky then he shouldnt ask for help then not say thank you instead of saying its bad and such. Sorry i have manners and even if someone does something for u like make u coffe but it taste like crap you still gotta be nice and say thanks. But yea Jungles is probly best for terrian maybe even twilight.

qpirateking is right, i think that twighlight is the best for making terrain, but since we have badlands to work with, what else does everyone have to show?

I'm not trying to be rude, but samples are comparatively easy to make and some just weren't good enough to use. I did say thanks, though. In fact, you don't even 'have' to submit anything. I'm just allowing some opportunity to be part of this for whoever is interested.

I agree though that badlands isn't good for custom terrain, but no other tileset has asphalt (which works well for indoors), structure, and dry desertish/canyon stuff that I need for the purposes of the rpg, which eliminates ice, jungle (nothing but temple crap), desert, and twilight (no jungle and too monochromatic).

Anyway, I've said it before but I'll say it again: this is my biggest project to date, so I want to afford every bit of quality possible with it. I'm not asking you to make samples to my standards and expectations, as that's impossible without knowing them (and not an easy task even if you did), but rather to explore combinations that can create good effect(s) that I might be able to use, or at least know what not to do. I'm not asking anyone to do the actual terrain body, though (which'll amount to many times more work than all the samples combined).
