That’s because you don't understand the starcraft community. SC players seem to fall in love with anyone who claims to be a girl. Finding out otherwise makes a bunch of guys feel gay then hate the person for it.
I'm not saying everyone is obsessed with you or anything (although some are). I have seen multiple times people on battle.net people claiming to be female, then when the word gets out everyone seems to hate them. This is mostly because people respect and treat girls in the community differently and they obtain popularity and power because of it. It would almost be like telling Great Britain that Queen Elisabeth doesn't have any royal blood.

Whenever someone claims that "she" is a girl, i just ask em for their bra size.
In reality, girls usually dont tell you their bra sizes. So if they answer you, then "she" is not a girl. If they DONT answer you (like by saying "OMFG im not telling you" or "do i have to answer that?") then they truly are girls. It works like 90% of the time.
