About the difficulty thing where it tells you how far youve gotten, I have no problems. Going thru the game 1 difficulty at a time it would still say that my farthest is The Great Journey on easy even if Im on the level just before that on Normal. (which im not)
Fall damage, vehicles, the "rag doll physics" they applyed to corpses-- everything.Realize that they were on time constraints. They would have put in a flamethrower and the alternate appearance Hogs as well as perfect on their physics if they had not set a deadline to the public.
You call me a baby for (jokingly) complaining about the beep before each match and then you make a crack about hearing "slayer."Well at the start of your post you said you were going to start whining. "Whining" & "Baby"... where did you fail to see the connection? And you dont think Im joking either?
First of all, if you understood the story (which judging form your post you clearly believe you do) you would know that MC is fully capable of holding a gun level. Secondly, I would like to know how you explain MC's being able to flip over a tank, and yet still fumbling with two little SMGs.I dont like the drastic recoil or the tank flipping either but its there. Write Bungie an e-mail or sumptin and ask them to fix it in H3. Also, if the recoil is gonna be on the SMGs, why isnt it on the plasma riffle?
And it wouldn't suck if you could use the fule rod gun.yeah, it still would, once you hear the dreaded "beep beep beep" and the soaring of a rocket, your practically skrewed. (assuming that you can hear the beeps because you are playing screen split) Plus like I said, fuel rod is still cheap.
Snow adds a sort of alluring ambiance to the landscape. Also, players with white armor can hide, taking advantage of the cover offered by snowy terrain.not to some people. in that sense so does outer space, or a lush jungle.
No, they're weaker. They have less of an area where they will actually deal damage, so you have less of a chance to hit something significantly in Halo 2. They are not really that much weaker, look at the difference between hitting a red elite and a blue elite with a sword, the red one takes a lot more of a beating. The same goes for the shotgun, different damage for different opponents. No matter what it still owns the flood. If you can hit them.
And how do you fail to see that if he (she?) were not there, Bungie would have just conjured up some other means of survival for Chief and the arbiter?I do realize that and think of this: How would the Arbiter and Chief meet together and go their seperate ways without killing each other? Like the gravemind said, "fate had [them] meet as foes but this ring will make [them] brothers" (or something really close). The Brutes would still have tried to kill the Arbiter so how would he have been saved? They were in the library, a flood party zone. I doubt there would have been a Phantom or any other covenant to catch him, and humans would just let him drop. Chief would never have made it into the room where the Prophets were delivering their speach and the Arbiter would never have caught up to Tartarus in time to stop the "key from turning".
Remember that doesn't follow the story. Grunts have translators, Elites do not.Why wouldnt CHIEF have a translator? Hes the one who wants to know that they are saying. Why would a grunt even need a translator in the language of w/e halo version you have? Chief would have the translator in his NEW suit. With a NEW translator to understand the Covenant. Remember Cortana transalates the Prophet of Regret's sermon?! They must have a translator somewhere besides in Cortana!
Really, they shouldn'y have taken any maps out.Ok, you have a point, but still, they had time constraints and they focused on what new maps they could make. How lame would it have been to have all old maps and like 2 new ones?
What of the war between the Prophets and the Elites? What about the myth of the seven rings? A lot was cut out.You dont really need to know about the war that took place and you learn that there are 7 rings during the cutscene after you kill Tartarus. And you learn too about the "arc" which was never mentioned before.
Um, yeah.Had to say something didnt you?
- Grab an energy sword, look down, turn left, look at your leg.Hey your right, its there! Wow that would suck if I could kill myself with it...which is probably your point. If you want to kill yourself grab a grenade or jump off a cliff.
Humans(Terran) Convonant(Protoss) Flood(Zerg)That relationship extends beyond Halo though. Look at Alien vs Predator for instance. Even LOTR kinda, Man(Terran) Elves (Protoss) Orcs(Zerg). I know its very rough but its still close enough. Starcraft wasnt the original.
Arg. Quotes break if you use to many of them.Mine did too so I used red.
1. Wraith tanks
2. Arbiter
3. Drone
4. Scarab gun
5. Aliens have shields (protoss)SC did not invent those names...
Wraith: an apparition of a living person in his exact likeness seen usu. just before his death
Arbiter: a person with power to dispute: JUDGE
Scarab: a scarabaeid beetle
Aliens have shields And they cloak, so do Predators. And they have plasma weapons. So what? Plus not all alien creatures have Shields, only Elites, some Elites that have been infected by the Flood, some sentinals, Jackals, and the huge vehicle smashing Forerunner weapon. But in SC every Toss unit has the same type of body surrounding shields. Only the Elites, Infected Elites, and Seninals have this feature. And if they have plasma tech, why not shield tech as well?
