If they are unknown how do you if they increase each time?
They shouldn't be in the mpq's those are to do with the game itself, not really the Editor, though they are used for the Patches, other than that, i don't know of other connections...
so do you plan to make this 1 big hole map or in seprate parts,
after you get done with this, make a matix map when you are just in the matrix havin fun

l hope the briefing will have falling random numbers to match the 'Matrix' monitor.
now that would be cool!!
you need a wav-music of the numbers doing that from the first matrix, that would becool
then all the words form The Matrix
That makes absolutely no sense alien.
Don't worry about it. You dont have to deal with him for a while.

Thats actually rather hard to do. Because the spaceing is so differant in the editor than it is in Starcraft. (well if it forms a word anyways)
I did something like that for my map Shoot Out, The first part has letters raining down and they stop to form the letters. Download it in the database if you want to see it.
First attack move complete: Flying Kick.
Your unit spins in a minicircle, then a BC is created for a split second to provide damage.
Also i would suggest you make a simple breif untill you compleat the map. Then if you have extra strings, yeah go all out on it.
Yeah, text strings seem to take up loads, i would also advise once completed making like a MOD version, maybe having it so that the names are imprinted into the game itself, sure you can't play it online, but you could make a single player only version for that!
i think the matrix is cool. i liked all of the bullets
Thats nice to hear, anything of use you going to add or not?
Couldn't you have a Crystal appear when you activate something, and it gets centred on, explodes and kills or damages units around it?
We will be making the numbers comming down the screen like in the real matrix.
We will be making a copy, but with this one you can roam around and do whatever.
you should post some more screenshots
this looks real cool, i hope it come's out soon

You know the Switching Save for Strings right? Or isn't it in the tutorial yet?
Switch Matrix Movement is Set
Clear Switch
Do the Text things
Preserve
to use simple activate switch and it will work, saving on much needed map strings!
lol this has become an entirely large topic so fast.
Alot of people must like the "Matrix" including me lol.
Go Yoshi
TY

This is designed to be THE biggest production of all of Starcraft UMS history. Goes to show something.
I'll try to make it as cool and as fun as possible!
TAKING NEW SUGGESTIONS:
What kind of fight moves would you guys want to see? So far I have flying kick.
Discribe breifly how the attack would take place and the name.
So far, most of the attack moves are simply your unit doing something cool, and a unit being created to do the actual mega damage. This will be the effect for about half of them.
So far planned:
- Jump
- Dragon Kick (does splash damage by creating lurkers under your unit)
how about the fly back thing? when they unit flys back to hit the wall, after being kicked hard.
how bout some secret way of getting a samurai sword? lol that'd be cool...with all the blood.....screaming.......pain.........death...........no mercy..............mwahahahAHAHAHAHAHAH DEATH TO THEM ALL
.....Maybe that was a bit much.....
oops forgot to add this in the other edit sorry
lol have you seen the intro for the PS2 game "Onimusha 3:Demon Siege" all the sword play was nice.

I dont know how I'd trigger that. I cant make it too complex.
ok, for the punching battle are you going to make zealots?
You mean Reloaded smith battle where he takes on billions of agents?
Kung Fo is automatic - its the normal attack units do

Maybe the ability to clear himself, you know when he pushes everyone around him away, just maybe have a centred location over him, create some observers, and make the enemy units follow the observers while Neo is allied for a small second, and they will move away, just set observers to junk yard, and after a few seconds remove them, get the computer and player unallied again and you have a bit of space, may not work to well, buts the best method to push people away i think.
Great idea! I got a simular idea to what you are saying. Thanks

Sure, needs a little refinement, and maybe some clever tricks, such as replacing hte observer being followed for another team, for a brief second to get the computer to follow another, and have another trigger put the other computer back in control of the observer which just got changed to another computer.
Do you understand that?
