Just cause you're a geek, doesn't mean you're uncool. (Unless you're a hardcore nerd) I don't know about your guy's schools, but at mine, we don't have that whole jock and nerd thing back in the 70's and 80's. It's really stupid as hell, and it's really lame. Society is changing for the better my friend. Intelligence is coming back into play within the social ladder. Got to love that internet.

People use geek/nerd as insults. We just need to tell ourselves it isn't an insult, but based on their tones and media influence, we usually take it as an insult.
