I just don't think you need to play games everywhere, or pay 350 dollars just for a lackluster gaming experience.
Just because it's portable doesn't make it any cooler.
Think of it... Small screen... bad graphics... bad controls...
I don't need to play games all the time, and if I did, I wouldn't need to waste 350 dollars to do so.

well we know that you can load movies to your psp but agree with the high price but tech cost a lot...

Well small screen aint true its bigger then DS maybe not if both fit but i hate how they have seprate screen sometimes... bad graphics it beats DS for sure. And becuase of the kinda small screen the graphic acctually comes out good XD and its not 350 its 300 lol haha... Also if you buy a 2gig memory card which cost around 250? i think. You can easily bunch of illegally downloaded PSP games which mean you dont need to buy games... and you get music on to your psp maybe a few if you have a few games in there. And 1 movie. Which acctually is pretty tight from what i think. with just 250 more dollar you can get so much more option but i guess there all illegal... Gotta say DS is pretty tight with touch screen time to time. but dont even think mario cart use touch screen and stuff and about 1/10 games use the touch screen well which acctually makes it a waste and etc.

well finally i feel like we are repeating the same thing over and over the one who likes psp and the ones who likes ds... hope ppl unless they havent posted yet... or have anything new to say XD lol

meh they are both good, i just like PSP better cuz im a Sony fan

You're basically admiting it's flying over your head. The point of the DS and PSP is that you can play all the games you want where ever you go, not that it looks really cool. Sure you could buy games for your computer or in your case download them illegally. But you can't take those games on road trips or other places.
Also the PSP costs 250$ right now.

NumB, I just said it wasn't flying over my head, but the truth is, I DON'T NEED TO PAY 300 DOLLARS SO I CAN PLAY A GAME THAT DOESN'T HAVE GOOD CONTROLS OR GRAPHICS ON A SMALL SCREEN ON MY 8 HOUR ROAD TRIP THAT I HAVE ONCE A YEAR.

If you don't want to spend money on handhelds then the arguement doesn't apply to you if you don't like either of them. Or in this case rather play unportable games then portable.

honestly, its nice to have a portable system, for those road trips, cuz i take like 4 or 5 of them a year, its nice to have any game to play.

I play my portable almost every day. I do not "not like" portables, I just think paying 300 dollars for sub par quality games (EVEN IF IT IS PORTABLE) is dumb.
Anyway, I play my portable right next to my computer, so being portable doesn't matter to me.
Sure, if you have a 1 1/2 hour trip to work every day on a train or something, it would be a pretty good idea to buy it. But if you were to buy the portable without the neccesity of portabillity.. It's stupid.

Oh i think Darth just made a point yea we talking about which system is better... not the time of playing it. And we all know PSP comon i cant really be playing DS unless you got wifi... PSP you dont need wifi its fun without and and with wifi its even better... mario cart by myself for 3 hours i can never do that... look at the graphics.. we know that psp is a much stronger system.

tell you the truth i think SENS have better graphic then DS... like yoshi island one of my fav super mario rpg the role playing one... there all great DS what do they have... the old and same Mario cart why cant they make new one atleast... but 1 thing that might be cool is super mash bro in DS now thast tight but other then im not looking forward to anything and not sure if its even coming..

That basically proves my point, you think buying anything below 50 dollars that's portable is useless. The arguement does not apply to you.

I've only played DS once and that was they playable ones they have in the stores. It had some lame wario game where you tickle the nose and clean the window and mow the grass etc. It was so lame I've never played the DS again.

The PSP has amazing graphics for being portable.

Personally I'm still waiting for virtual reality
