Physically, yes, it is possible. I just don't think it would be very probable that there'd be a land mass in the middle of the atlantic, with South America and Africa fitting together so well. Maybe it's demise was when the great flood happened in the bible

i really think its the azores islands. i mean look how shallow the water is over there. atlantis could of existed there. then with the combination of ice caps melting and volcanic erruptions it could of destroyed the azores continent... well thats what i think anyway.

If this were true by the way. It would be known as the greatest disscovery and would be everywhere in the world. Noone can belive it really exsists. Apparently the Incas, Mayan and aztecs (South american ancestors) Came from atlantis when it fell but thats only spetulating.

well uh... hitler believed that the aryans came from atlantis... or something like that. he actually commenced a lot of expeditions searching for links from the atlantean people. he searched from rome to the himilayas but found nothing.
