When did I say that it doesn't have holes? When did I say that it is mainly because kellimus?

The main idea of MAM is to keep registration under control, instead of leave it automated. It would sure stop the quick accounts from being made.

And I definitely didn't say that it will be only IP/e-mail based control. Maybe you should learn to read before acting a smartass wink.gif

And about most saying that we can report on double account and stuff.
>Moose never reads/replies to my PM.
>Reported TTB case... no action.
>I once Reported a member posting in red annoying text color, Cheeze said stuff.. no action.
QUOTE(IP)
How about, consistant annoyances like the ones you posted result in 1 warning, 1 suspension, and then perm ban from now on? Especially multiple colors, multiple sizes, line breaking sentences and cap abuse. Probably as well as massive underlining.

Now explain me whats the point then.

I really would say that MiniMoose has been a good admin. As he said, he kept the site online through all the errors in the database, he's active, and when he get's to a bad topic first he locks it.

The only bad thing is that flamers have been going up lately, mainly Zordon. Not sure if he's banned yet.

I wouldn't put Merrel as an admin or global mod; I don't know how good he was as staff, but from what I've seen he and DK have flamed Kellimus when not necessary a few times. Other then that, I would nominate him myself.

DTBK is extremely active and would make an exceptional 'keeping it under control' administrator, while Beer_Keg I haven't seen in a while.

I think Kellimus should stay banned; I don't know what got his new account banned, but he caused a lot of trouble overall, and he keeps trying to annoy everyone. I doubt he's coming back anyway.

The MAM idea might be good, but I don't see how the people will really check if someone can be allowed to enter, and it should take a while to let people register, which would be annoying as well and could deter traffic. I think a certain PHP script or two added to registration can do the same job.

Kellimus's Messenger will give up soon. Hardly anyone follows his line of thinking.

So? What good does it show?

It shows that I'm above having a problem with it. My PMs might be helpful. In which case he probably has fixed it before he responds. Probably because fixing the site is more important to him than responding right away. Or maybe I called him Mooseycake, in which case he is so turned on he cannot respond just yet. smile.gif

Shows that Moose really doesn't care about you.

If Moose was a bad administrator, wouldn't we still have a MySQL error everytime we tried to visit the website?

ADDITION:
Wait, what was that line Yoshi used to use?

Oh yeah.

You didn't but everyone else did, and that's why they're not using it.

In the first line of your post, silly!
QUOTE(DEAD)
I had this idea from yesterday when DK flamed Kellimus with another account

EDIT:
It also says "Recent Flame War" in the description of your thread for MAM, at the current time the only recent flame war was Kellimus, Zombie, and the whole incident of this huge thread.
QUOTE(DEAD)

O rly?
QUOTE(DEAD)
How can MAM decide? Well, MAM should have IP/e-mail addresses of all members in the risk group(members banned before, members with warns etc.). Also MAM would have access to all member IP/e-mails in case of investigation this would help a lot.

If the new member papers look clean, MAM would accept him and he can access to SEN. If MAM suspects a double account or something else bad he would deny registration and note the IP/e-mail.

You clearly state that the IP addreas and e-mail would go through a check by administrator, or global mod before being accepted to the site. Now later on DT posts that proxies, different emails, and other forms of changing IP addreas or whatever can easily slip by your poorly made system.
And if you actually were thinking of a different way of figuring out how to find double accounts, etc. Then you didn't mention in your post.

And just as a side note, if a mod doesn't warn someone you thought should be warned. That doesn't mean they're wrong, it means no one cares what you think, and whatever the person was doing, was offending any rules. "Smartass".

Yea, just because kellimus is mentioned there it all because of him... NOT wink.gif

No, by that I meant Zordon, Euro, Zombie, DK, Merrell, Dorkhawk, Holysin.. and many more members flaming each other recently. Not kellimus, because he has been banned for month and without thread before this he didn't flame, as far as I know.

and the whole incident of this huge thread.

Except, I suggested that before this incident wink.gif

Hardy har har DEAD you have found a gramical flaw in my post. This quiet obviously shows that your MAM has no holes in it what so ever. However if you were not so desprete to find other flaws in my arguement than you would've realized I meant to say eveyone else found holes in it. And that's why they're not using you're shizty system, that you're also backing up very poorly.
Bravo DEAD you proved yourself an idiot.

And you suggested it again in this thread, meaning that we should use it now more than ever due to recent events. Meaning you suggested it both before and after the incident, and it was denied both times. And you're probably getting on people's neveres now seeing as how moose apparently doesn't reply to your PMs, although they're probably as piss poor as your horrid attmpt of defending your crappy MAM.

You can keep this up DEAD, but in case you haven't noticed yet, no one is going to use MAM. You have yet to defend that it doesn't use IP addreases or emails to find out double accounts, in fact all you did defend was when you posted the shizty idea, and the grammar mistake I made. You're doing great.

This topic seems to be going around in circles and is rapidly descending into a flame war. If you want to argue this further I think it's best if you leave it to PM/IM.

BTW, I didn't PM moose about it. Actually, I don't PM moose at all after he ignored few PM in a row. I am getting on everyone's nerves with MAM? I only suggested it in a topic and mentioned it here 2 times. I say, get your nerve pills man wink.gif

At firsts, MAM means Member Area Manager, and I don't see how can anyone use him. I mean we don't use the admins tongue.gif
I don't have to defend it that bad, nor I do it. It's actually not that hard to figure out double accounts, at least for me.

Whats your problem man? Back off me. If you don't like it, go to the topic and say that wink.gif

Next time your thread is locked, don't continue the discussion since it's your thread and you can still post in it. It's unfair that you will have the last word since you can post when nobody else can and knowing it.

Moose didn't lock it, it was Will.
All Moderators can lock a topic upon posting. When we post, there is a drag down box titled "Options after posting...", in it we can select close this thread, move and other moderator functions.
