Big battles like Helms Deep and Minas Tirith are sure to be glitch-heavy. We'll have to see, but by the end of this month it HAS to be released!

Yesterday the legendary Evil_Moogle got a nice sneak-peak at this map. He was left in shock at what I have produced with my good pal lequebeclibre.

Evil_Moogle's Comments: "This map is 9.2/10 because of the glitches, but once you've fixed the glitches it'll be 10/10. Acctually, it'll be 15/10, +5 for Kupo Nut stamp "

It's a great honour to receive such appreciation from a guy as godlike as Mog. I promise you guys that this map is going to be one of the greatest RPGs ever made, it even has a semi-party system where you can pick up other characters to join in on your adventure.

Map has been halted for a bit because lequebeclibre is nowhere to be seen. Estimated release date is now May, 2006.

Please comment on this map, this is my 4th last map before I quit map making.

This sounds good...a thought tho, maybe make 2 versions? One everone controls a character. Another being played in single player. Just from experience... I can never finish a game like this becasue someone always has to leave or lag or somone dies and it becomes really gay.

Even if you dont want to do this... Would it be possible to send me a copy of what im asking for?

I guess that could work DLK =/ incase someone cant get the players.. that way you can make single player version much larger..

I've decided to keep this map "All Required", if you don't like it, then get outta here because I'm not gonna put up with whining. After all, it's -MY- map, I can do what -I- want with it. Sorry for being really rude like this, but I have spent 2 years making this and lequebeclibre's long-term absences are driving me nuts!

Dude, i agree with you as it is YOUR map, but whats the point of doing a really good helms deep if no1 is gonna get there? me and my mates from school went over 1 guys place, sat up (about 6 of us) just to finish the RPGS

Atleast send that guy a Ver so he can do it, u gotta think about wat the people want!!

I don't like you, and your map is probably gonna be the same output as that ww2 map, but man that statement was so true. How bout a 9/10 from time2 time lyon for the good rpgs, not the 1's with stunning effects but dont make any sense .

Anyway goodluck on completing another 1 of those useless maps, a project done is better than a great project incomoplete. So fix it up and finish it.

You know, just reading about this kind of makes me miss StarCraft.

I hear yah buddy, I've been playing a damn MMO for the past 3 weeks. Sept its more of the reason why I've been gone so long, kinda searching for that inner light scernio.

Yea time has been tough around my house, besides getting hit a lot by my whole family.

But to be on topic:

It IS the same few people saying this is a nice game, I mean after all, have you actually gotten a whisper on B.net about this game from other than moogle and other people who HAVE posted here. O.o

And I'm not saying advertise either, nobody likes the pictures of the same 3 aragorn legolas and gimli

Honestly LotR has kinda died, you should have made this about a year ago when the movies were so big the chances of spreading would be higher.

Acctually you're wrong sorry to say. No one has made a LotR RPG in like 1-2 years, so they want a new one. People i've told about this map are begging me to finish. I'm 90% done testing right now, just finished testing Minas Tirith and it works flawlessly.

i rated ohama beach operations 6/10, mainly cause it wasnt a good map. sorry to tell ya.

But it is true, lately no LotR maps have been played on Bnet (At least when I look in the Join list)

LotR is just a fanboy thing now. I got a guy at school who likes a prep cause she likes LotR. Hes not too much of a friend anymore, he hates StarCraft, while the WoW junkie I know, likes StarCraft now and we all cool like. -yawn-

But what does this have to do with LotR you may say. Well the very culture we live in now, there is always a 3 man party. Look around, you saw aragorn lego and gimli, then look at final fantasy, LoD (Not DII for you haters of PSI ) Notice its always a 3 man team? Of course some games choose to change that, but in the end you still see a orc or something in these friggen games.

Its just getting older and older. Personally, I don't really like the movies anymore, not just because of the music.

Maybe I cry for something new, who knows?

Ooh ooh, I get it! Han, Leia, and Luke make Star Wars suck, mainly because they're a trio of heroes. And the Nazgul make Lord of the Rings suck a lot, because zomg, there are nine of them, which is a trio squared! But I'd have to say that the Fellowship + the Nazgul + Faramir, Sauron, Elrond, Galadriel, Glorfindel, Eomer, Eowyn, Theoden, and Saruman make Lord of the Rings sooo boring, because that's a trio to the power of a trio and... and...

Seriously, don't diss my Lord of the Rings. You suck.
