Thats exactly why I join, to make a good map and see where I fit in to the other great map makers. I like to think of myself as the best map maker, ovcaorse it isnt true, but everyone like to think that of themselves. And I dont really have to many other reasons to make maps then a contest, PERFECT!

Well only by rigging the judging, tampering with the map, producing a better map, or disqualifying him would you be able to disallow him to win. For the latter, it's again a question of art vs. artist.

I don't really know what's gone on between him and SEN previously to make that an issue, though.

He's banned. Replace devilesk with nuclearrabbit or Kellimus.

I have a few fun ideas for robot maps.

I'm thinking everyone has atleast 2-3 good ideas for this theme (no offense) because it is such a broad theme. I saw this theme and I was all, "Hmmm, what to make!?!?" I now have several ideas on ownage maps I could make .

I've lost fuel in my map. No more good storylines...I might start a new one, but most likely not cause i've got something else I wanna work on.

By now I'm done with the map but I can't be botheres to do the briefing

Well good news for you guys. my main idea is probably not gonna be finished on time, but my second is nearly completed so ill get somewere decent atleast

Would it be too much to ask for a deadline extention? I know it breaks the whole 'August' theme, but the judges aren't going to have all the maps judged by then anyway (unless people submit their stuff early), so this'll be "finished" in September any way you look at it.

Maybe a week or so would be fine. Not required, though.

I'm about done with one robotic map, and I think I'll try to get another in by the end of the month.

Darn . . . stupid bug in my map when i play with 2+ players.. If i find no way to fix it i just make it singleplayer But that would be kinda boring...

Even though the robot theme is ok I thought a theme that could of reflected real time like since schools coming up what about a theme as school for next month or no?

Addition:

And don't expect flashy briefings and colored unit or force names from me. First I believe it doesn't really show skill, just that you had enough time to edit it with xtra editor or starforge 2. And the other reason are the starcraft updates that seem to kill some of the things you might add this way.

Does anyone else think Moose's new avatar is sexy? Also Russian Roulette with shotguns.

Ahh i give up with the other map But i make some random arena map anyways...

If I can get it done in... what, 9 days? It's possible, but gonna be a stretch. Chances are like 30% I could. Nevermind proper balancing, though.

ALSO: I think it's too late for me, I've been held up this summer. Maybe the next contest(but maybe school'll be in the way). I dunno, next time I'll really be completely free is christmas.

btw, don't bother making a "Christmas in September" contest to get me to join, it won't help.

Christmas only belongs in December and July.
