So how are you guys preparing for armageddon...err...Bush winning the election? I bought some Cheetos and a 2-liter. Well I've tried to defend my case, and I still know that Kerry is a better choice. But America is stupid. Prepare for 4 years of utter  censored.gif , America. No matter what you think now, Bush will make it worse.

that MIGHT be the dumbest thing i have ever heard in my life....you say he is going to make it worse? it has to get 'bad' before it gets 'worse' and imho its pretty damn 'good'!

GO BUSH =D

Well it all relies on Ohio. Bush doesn't have 269, he has 249. Most news centers are saying he's won Ohio prematurely. There are still 250,000 out-of-state ballots to count wheich they wont get to for another 11 days. So to say that Ohio goes to Bush is a large mistake, much like saying Florida went to Bush in 2000.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, electronic voting will win this election for Bush. Diebold, the company that made the system, even assured it. To me, that's cheating. It was proven in both California and Maryland courts that this system could easilly be hacked into and votes can be erased or changed. I feel that in states like Indiana, Florida, and Ohio, this type of unfair play has been implemented. 30% of the popular vote used the electronic system, meaning 30% of voters could possibly have their votes changed. Without a reciept, Diebold can change any votes they want with nothing to use as evidence against them. So yay, Bush will win as a cheater.

Pears, you honestly think we're doing good now? I was joking about that statement earlier, but it does have some ironic truth to it. What about the fact that practically none of our old allies like us any more? How about Americans losing a huge amount of jobs? How about the fact that our troops lack armor while Bush funds newer stronger armor for his oil contracters? And what about outsourcing?

Man I'm hoping America gets invaded or nuked by North Korea just as an act of karma. We will go downhill from here. It is inevitable.

Oh and you didn't hear it, you read it.

I voted for Bush based on morale issues.

I don't see how anyone could vote for anyone that supports pro-death abortion and gay homosexuals. What it all boils down to; is their character.

Anyways, Deathknight made some interesting points; however, most people don't realize this but at the end of President Clinton's term the economy started to get really bad. This is the first time that 3000 American lives were lost in a day over American soil, you possibly can't blame President Bush for that. He did all he could, he put more money in your pockets, he gives more money to small buisnesses. How the economy grows is based on the people.

EDIT:: Devilin everything you just said was a load of crap.
Kerry proposed to stop funding the troops more then President Bush. None of America's allies 'like' us anymore? What kind of censored.gif is that. Actually job growth as improved lately. There is a factory near me that CAN'T find help, it needs around fifty more people.

Get your head out of your ass and see the real world.
BTW: The voting system could not be hacked because they were not networked together.

I don't give a censored.gif what you think about what I said. I know what I said is true because I've read about all of it in the press (a few links below). And correct, they don't like us anymore. Why else did Poland, France, Germany, and others finally decide not to help us on our crusade?

As far as I'm concerned, Bush cheated thanks to Diebold computer systems. Whether they were hacked or not, Diebold himself could have easilly took out a few thousand democratic votes.

COLUMBUS - The head of a company vying to sell voting machines in Ohio told Republicans in a recent fund-raising letter that he is "committed to helping Ohio deliver its electoral votes to the president next year."

So here's my toast to the next 4 years. I don't care what y'all say, I know America as a superpower will fade away. Bush is going to bring our country's credibility down dramatically.

First off-- homosexuality is not something that be controlled. You are opposed to them for moral reasons and things about their character? Being gay is part of their character. They can change it about as much as you can change being a dumbshît. By the way... gay homosexuals? I wasn't aware that there was a different kind of homosexuals.

"First time over 3000 lives had been lost in a day." Hmmm... the revolutionary and civil wars strike a bell. True, a terrorist act such as September 11 could not have been anticipated, but when it did happen, Bush backed off and went after Saddam.... wtf? Even if he did have weapons of mass destruction, so do many other countries, who have them openly.

"There is a factory near me that CAN'T find help, it needs around fifty more people." A factory... way to be extremely general, which shows that you are most likely making it up. As if you can judge how many workers they need in a factory. Oh ya, its judged by how big the sign on the door that says "help wanted" is.

"Kerry wanted to stop funding the troops." No he didn't. He wanted to take out the troops. When you don't have any troops fighting, there arent many fighting troops that need to be funded.

"Pro death abortion" Yeah I know. STOP KILLING OUR DEAD BABIES!
Only a fool would oppose stem cell research.

"the voting system could not be hacked because they were not networked together" ... because of course voting booths are identical to computers. Suppose 1/10 votes for kerry was automatically tallied as a vote to bush? Not that i truly believe that the election was rigged. It doesnt have to be with ignorant morons like yourself voting.

For those of you with yours heads under a rock, or in the same town as @:@, Kerry conceded defeat after it was almost completely certain that he had lost. So its down to Bush and Nader now.... go nader?

So your homophobic then? That seems very, politically incorrect, or are you just against Homosexual marriages as a whole? I see no issues myself, and when i vote in the next general election, i'll not see something like that as an issue to myself at all.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by DevliN on 2004-11-03 at 15:34:08
FaZ-, once again you're a hero in my eyes. biggrin.gif

I have a lot of homosexual friends, and in some cases they are much more open and real than my straight friends. So I of course have nothing against them. I think gay marriage should not be amended because its too closely tied with the argument of religion - and as we all know, America is supposed to have church and state separate. I have many very personal accounts where the technicalities involved in the bureaucracy of our government have made it impossible for some gay couples to not be married - i.e. visiting a sick lover at a hospital.

The democratic party - my party - has taken a huge loss. And all we can do now is prepare for the next election and build upward.

Bush won the SEN election mostly because of me, I spent all last night organizing countless votes. The last 20 or so votes for Bush were from people who probably wouldn't have known about the poll had I not told them. Go me and my endless pro-Bush SEN campaign smile.gif

EDIT: BTW... all you people who are like "OMG ARMAGEDDON" and "OMG AMERICANS R DUMB" are idiots yourselves. Four more years, ok. Time to get over it and move on. Clearly though, the only idiots in the country are the ones who vote for Kerry just because they hate Bush.

And another thing.. the Democratic party is really censored.gif ed. Unless the put up a woman next election they're gonna be dust in the wind. It's hard for them to come up with some sort of hero since there are no *MAJOR* wars going on. The only choice they have to get someone great is a woman or something.
