If you are going to rig maps I would make them NOT playable in Melee mode, because that will be like the new generation of Comp Stomp type maps. If you care at all about Melee, then you shouldnt look for ways to rig. It's just wrong.

Who cares if newbs play a new kind of crap, rigged, melee map? It only allows the pros to stand out more. People wanna play shit maps? Let them.

My original concept by starting this topic wasnt to make a new hella cheap way to win, it was just prompting a question of whether or not this certain path was explorable or not. for instance people have been talking in other topics about how you could not have things be perfectly balanced but instead could have counter balances for each race. this idea is one such counter balance that could work for the protoss benifit. this also was to prompt the idea of how to rig a map for protoss in general sense it seems to be eaiser to rig for all te other races, especially Ter.

Wow... this thread has gotten huge... so has it resulted in any test maps yet? Test maps that didn't crash? Just curious, lol.

Maybe you should read the rest of the thread.
There were quite a few tests done. We found you can place p12 unit sprites and mc them.
Thats it in a nutshell.
