That's not anti-social. That's just very shy. Anti social is guy A killing guy B only because guy B opened up the window.

Having online friends is good but really the only thing you can do with them is just game and chat. And you also have no clue what they look like (unless they post their REAL pictures)
Report, edit, etc...Posted by IceWarrior98 on 2005-07-26 at 13:47:56
Yes hence the reason why I only have maybe 1 or 2 two online friends, the rest of the 20 are from who knows where knowing my remembering capabilities. Heck lately the only one who wants to talk to me I barely know but shes very creepy...I'll never understand girls dots.gif lol.

No way, although women may master langauges I can't possibly understand, somehow know the relationships of every person in the school, get peanut butter on bread without ripping the bread apart, and so many other things, I like being a man.

We have two BIG advantages:
We are shallow compared to most of them so we really have less to think deeply about, especialy if it involves some sort of relationship. We could almost care more about wether the toilet seat is down than that Marie was doing what with whom to get back at Mr. John Smith for some small thing that he has no clue about.

We have the freedom to go into a forest with a full bladder, and just, well, answer teh call of nature, without... complications so to say.

War is correct about anti-social, in fact, I'm quite the same, although much more...
rough about things.
Take war's example:
Girl asks me out (Lowlife girl who's intelligence is surpassed by a carrot.)

I'll tell you in a day or two.
Two days later:
I'm going by (Enter planet here) so that means a day there takes (Enter numerical value here) days here.
After that time has passed:
No, sorry.

Not exactly, but yeah.
I mean, I am NOT a trusting person, in escense, I hate all the drunk idiots doing keg oarties in the woods and forgetting that condoms aren't 100% effective.
When it comes down to it, face to face, unless you can match, (Or surpass) my intelligence, or somehow show that you can actualy make your life into something, I'll probably just do my ignore/repel routine.

The net is the one exception, becuase it involves very little trust except that you'll be online, willing to play, and that you won't become a male donkey with a bad attitude. And that you won't hijack the clan channel, steal CD-keys, ect.

But yeah, by now you're all snoring.

I gotta stop listening to my teachers... they're starting to melt my mind!!!!!!!

But anti-social can range from being dumbstruck and kinda shy, to my being a jerk just to make people turn away.

Yeah, this name rocks! happy.gif

Don't unload on the Everyone needs a friend speal, I already had a topic on it.

Uh, sorry if that was off topic, but my views on how people interact are pretty big.

*Leaves to answer nature's call.*
Man, I love being a man.

*Returns while slamming the door*
*Darn flies, that's not gonna be fun in the morning*
OR:

*Wish I had waited to see if that bush was poison Ivy*

Sorry, but the two previous advantages were really double edged swords...

Not to be sick, but a guy on my old soccer team once had a run in with poison ivy, on a palce he doesn't usualy show the public...

*Shivers*
Man, I have too much to say:
Back in 1993 or so, didn't some housewife cut off her husbands... erm... censored.gif

and like toss it in a field?

That's sickening.
*SHivers again, crosses legs.*

END OF RANT

Like Clokr_ said at the beginning...periods suck. Pregnancy would suck. etc

A little late, yes, but I am quite the opposite of Homophobic. I am very, very curious of the opposite sex and what everything is like and such and such. That is not to say I am gay, I cant imagine ever having sex with a man or anything even close to a relationship, at that. I'd probably be a lesbian happy.gif
Report, edit, etc...Posted by pimpinelephant on 2005-07-28 at 06:02:41
i guess all im going to say it that guys don't get pregnant, are stronger (most cases...), more athletic (most cases), and can date whenever they feel like it without their parents getting on their case (most cases), tongue.gif even though there are some other advantages of being a girl, like having control of guys (how the hell do they do that???), i still like being a guy, i really don't even think about this kind of stuff, so in reality i just don't know, oh man, im beginning to ramble on and on, sorry, i do that a lot of times for no reason, i don't know, maybe it's a curse, or maybe i just like to talk, i really don't know, it's actually kind of strange, for some unknown reason that i don't know of i just keep talking on and on and on, huh, truly strange...

Off topic

You sig is from Chrono Cross, right? Is that Akira Toriyama's work?

On Topic

I agree with Shapechanger. I am very curious about the opposite sex, but i'm not gay and can't even think of how men can be gay (I wouldn't want a rock hard cack in my butt puke.gif)

The only problem I have with being a girl is Periods, and pregnancy. Other than that, I would enjoy it smile.gif
Report, edit, etc...Posted by pimpinelephant on 2005-07-28 at 17:00:44
nope, actually its from Chrono Trigger; holy crap CT, yeah remember that game from like 1995 for the SNES... and yes the character designer is Akira Toriyama.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Staredit.Net Essence on 2005-07-28 at 17:25:11
Yeah it was Trigger, not Cross *Smacks head* I remember it. It's a tight game.

And I knew it was Toriyama!

Would I want to be born a different gender? Only if I could go back to being a guy at anytime I wanted. I would also do it purely for research purposes. Also, I can't ever shave my face until it's super soft, so I'd like to know how girls get their blushing.gif 's so smooth LOL tongue.gif

It also seems to me that some girls find it highly offensive when I can't remember their names.

At my missions trip, there were a whole bunch of korean girls and I could not remember any of their names for like the first 3 or 4 days and they got so pissy, and when I got a name mixup, they got even more pissier

That time of the month.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Infested-Jerk on 2005-08-07 at 14:47:57
My friend, Mitch, once got suspended from school becuase where he was learning, one person, boy or girl could use the restroom, well, this girl took HALF and hour going, when she returned, Mitch asked "Your time of the month is it?" and his teacher suspended him.

Of course, Mitch is the guy that shot himself in the foot with his dad's pistol. Erm...

I love being the ignorant to all types of feelings besides hunger, happy, sad, mad, and oh yeah, tiredness, male.

I think every person is curious about the other sex. From five years olds asking why there are different bathrooms to kids in highschool sitting more straight and actualy paying atention in health class because the subject is sex ed.

I sometimes wish I were born a girl, but sometimes I see a young pregenant woman at about 15 or 16, about the age of my cousins, and do I feel bad. I'd rathar be a man so that there's one guy less to worry about in terms of abuse and what-not. I'm curious of what girls like so much about clothing, what do they truly like, and why do most of them fear so much. I have a logic a bit like a woman i believe, natural multi-task, play mind games with people, and think in a more spiritual and emotional way than most people seem, or perhaps i'm just bring that out more.

In the end, I chose no, because i'd much rather be the hero than the princess in distress(Which is a great majority of cases). But I like a girl that isn't a weakling to physical fighting.

Another point that i can't fit in here is: I'd rather be beaten to hell till the sun goes down as a guy than be raped all night as a girl.

This is kind of a really deep question to me, and it goes beyond wanting to feel yourself up as the opposet sex. The question ask if you have ever wanted to be the opposite sex and my answer is yes, I have previously. But the poll of course requires you to answer “Yes I wish I was born the other gender” in witch I don’t believe now. Both sides have there negative sides each with there own set of stresses. And assumptions.

And, as a man, I am expected to love competition and sports and things I just dont.

I can't enjoy watching sports, i don't even really know how to play football other than the basic rules. I may have a competitive side but i don't think it runs my life. What bothers me is what your expected to be. Not just enjoying sports and all but the quality of your character, honestly in a relationship, feelings, and all that stuff. Many women simply believe that ALL males are sexist pigs and everything I'm not. I have constantly found myself when with a group of girls hearing them say "I hate guys, there scum" whatever, then they turn to me and there ether "sorry" or "not you". The whole attitude makes me feel that women cannot accept me for who I am because they all see the guy they think everyone is.

Of course so much is derived from your point of perspective; the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence. Women are expected to have there own traits too. There opinion of men have caused them to believe all men only care about outside appearance causing them to starve themselves and/or dress in scantly clothes. Then when they succeed in transforming themselves into the covergirl image then they are seen as a skank or a whore by other women and even men. Women are expected to be emotional and that jazz as well. The list goes on but as I ramble it up I forget everything else.

The delusions of your own sex are derived directly from the delusion you have of the other, in both cases.

hahaha but that's part of the game! For example,
...

However much of that post was a joke or not doesn’t matter because it is in a since true. I hate the idea of making your relationship or the act of seeking one out a ‘game’ that you play. I refuse to be a part of some stupid game used to judge me as someone I am not. In essence the act of the game itself is a lie and a façade put off in order to win. I feel very strongly that if women don’t like me for whom I am, then they can buzz off. I believe that honestly in a relationship is the only way to make it work. I’m not going to change myself to fit there likings and I don’t’ expect her to do the same for me. So much about the dating world just pisses me off cause its all bullcrap and lies. I personally believe in myself strong enough to believe that I am worth it as who I am. And I don’t need to act like another person to be accepted, what does that solve?

So I guess I have kind of gotten of track here but its all about what I perceive this question to be about. To me this is social question asking if you would rather live in society as a women or as a man.
