You don't have to "finish it", just having some way of getting to the victory trigger(if it can be won) would be ok :s

Is it to late to say I want to enter? I'm making a small RPG that'll function like a demo of the larger one (it's mainly get my ideas going)

I would! Haha, jk... although my computer recently got bombarded with spyware and trojans, so production is going VERY slowly until I can get this problem resolved.

You all better remember to backup your maps since having to restart an RPG will definitely suck like a duck.

Well, I'm almost finished... though I'm fairly certain that last trigger system I did is going to be the buggiest thing on the planet.

Is it alright if I only submit the first part of my map? I've almost reached the character limit, and in no way shape or form will I be able to fit everything in one map as I had originally intended.

Yup, I spoke from firsthand experience.

First part of the map as in it's a mostly completed form, and there's going to be a sequel map to it or something, then yes. Moogle is fairly lenient on the rule concerning that the maps can simply be still in BETA, but make sure that it's still playable. If you want, you can do something like 'To be continued...' at the part where the map cuts off or something, but at least have a decent amount of playtime until the judges get to that area.

For a moment there, I thought the deadline was still Sept. 10th. At this point, most major projects which've been started since the beginning of this contest should be around 40% complete. Remember to pace youself, mappers.

Its really hard to get in front of the comp to work on such a complex map like an rpg. Iono I probly wont finish it in time. Either that or I'll have to cut my storyline short.

Can we get minerals for participation, and something that looks like a reasonable amount of effort was put into it?

It's now going to be difficult to distribute 7770+ minerals when you only have 4k. I'll donate more to you when this mess is finally stable.

I'll need talk to IP about setting my minerals back up to normal, right now i should have 12,650 -_-; i'll see if ip or admin/mod can fix it.

Yea but what if you spent like 100 hours on your map and its not fun at all and stuff. Can you still get noteworthy mentions. (Because I dont have much exp in map-making.)
