I feel the need to defend the GC a bit, cuz its taken a lot of bashing from your guys.
*rolls eyes* Only an imbecillic 8-year old would say this. Moron. And btw, polys per second isnt the only thing that affects graphics. There's the method that it renders (like comparing pixel graphics to vector). It HAS been proven that the GCN is superior to any other system when it comes to rendering water & liquids.
1. The Controller: Those you think that the controller for the cube is weird, need to actually think about the design. Its shape is ergonomic (unlike the PS2's controller), and the button configuration is brilliant (I can press the A,B,X,Y,L,R buttons, plus the analog stick all at once). It also take less time to get used to - each button on the main pad has a unique shape (a break away from the traditional design).
2. The Graphics: Sure, they're not as good as those found on the other consoles, but the difference is hardly noticeable. Basically, the graphics are just as good as they need to be. On top of that, people tend to forget that Nintendo is, at heart, a game company. Games are its focu, and notihng else. PlayStation is backed by electronics giant Sony, and Xbox by Bill. These companies have home turf advantages, being able to draw on resources from other departments. For a game company, I'd say Nintendo did a really, really good job.
3. The Size: Is that a problem? Are some people ashamed for having a smaller, lightweight, portable system? *Cough*compensatingforsomething*cough*
4. The Games: Zelda, Metroid, Mario, Sonic, F-Zero, Starfox, Resident Evil Smash Bros. Need I say more? (Actually, there is a point I have to make for those who dissmiss GC games as childish: You guys can't handle a little bit of colour in your games! Play them, and you'll find that the games are accessible (and fun!).
5. Hardware Extras: Not many. Once again, GC is a very simple, straightforward system. I condede, however, that leaving out the internet connection was a mistake (but an understandable one - see point 2).
Before any of you call me biased, I will say a few things about the other systems:
PS2: To be honest, I don't like the PS2. I haven't found a game on it that makes me want to buy one. It doesn't have mnay bad points, but it doesn't have any good ones, either.
Xbox: If you could attach a GC controller to this baby, and play Nintendo games, I'd buy one. The hardware is very nicely put together; the hard drive was a good idea. Unfortunately, right now, the Xbox is rather redudant. It plays like a PC. I have one already, except that I can write reports, research games, chat with people, draw, render, calculate - you name it - and it only costs a bit more than the Xbox.
EDIT: (Again, and again!) Here's the reason for all the fighting: different people like different things. GCN owners seem to be the most intelligent (or at least, the most intelligible) & value well-put-together games. The Xbox pool is brought down by you loudmouth, stupid tweenies who think its cool to be 133t; but I'd say that the Xbox players like to be able to play online, and seem to value graphics. PS2 owners are a very mixed breed, but seem to consist of FF fanatics who have no lives, and normal people who dont want either the extremes of Xbox or GCN.

So, your calling me a tweenie just because I like XBOX.. Well here's why I use it.
Linux: XBOX can run linux on it, which is another operating system. My XBOX has a desktop on it, and I frequently chat on MSN while playing Starwars: Battlefront.
Hard drive: Can you imagine running a computer off memory cards?
Data Transfer Thing: This thing is really useful to transfer files back and forth from my computer
The XBOX: It works very well as a gaming computer (duh, it is one). After the xbox users figure out replacements for windows xp, and I can install it on my XBOX, I will be able to play counterstrike on it.. with a XBOX controller, or mouse and keyboard (yes, there is a way to plug one into your xbox).
message to idoL: I figured out what I was doing wrong, I downloaded the wrong thing, but I got everything working now.
