No, plagiarism is a serious offence.
EDIT: Again, I missed the link in the picture. Sorry.
What is plagiarism ?

When you steal something from somebody without giving ANY credit.
Your still being harsh, i know it was wrong but...
I don't see a diffrence between plagiarism like this, and certain people who steal maps... n20, please rectify your post... and in the future always give credit. It's not just against the law, it also makes you morally inferior. Think about what you're doing guys, because I'd say 90% of the posts made on staredit.net look like the user's brain was taking a vacation.
EDIT: Snipe
QUOTE
n 1: a piece of writing that has been copied from someone else and is presented as being your own work 2: the act of plagiarizing; taking someone's words or ideas as if they were your own [syn: plagiarization, plagiarisation, piracy]
From Dictionary.com, if ever you don't know the meaning of a word, this is the place to look it up Snipe.
EDIT: Sorry n20 =(
Sweet Jesus it was in a random picture thread.
He has a point. This topic is going way out of hand
Speaking of random..

what r u talking about??
There's no reason to completly copy what Maddox said, to go with the picture... if you didn't make the picture you should be giving due credit people...
EDIT: I didn't see the link in the picture... my bad.
So that I'm not going completly off topic here:

The fact that most of you will not even understand this makes it incredibly unique. Created by my friend Andrew when he was trying to describe how he wanted me to throw the ball.
WTF? I never said i made the picture and it's just a joke i dont see what the big deal is?
So basically you would think all the sigs i make with renders in them are against copyrigth law? Well guess what it's not agains any law.
(oh yeah nice detective work on finding out where the pic came from) (it says www.maddox.com or something in the bottom left)
I don't understand that picture. He wanted you to hit someone?
Does anyone care that you can render the shit out of some random picture? Does anyone care that you can repeat some joke you've heard someone else say before? I think what people do care about is getting credit for their work.
Technically you should have asked for permission to use their picture... unless it was for private or educational use (which it clearly isn't). Yes, it is technically against the law, they'll just never find out... or they won't care because they aren't making any money off of it anywhere.
In short, it's not cool to pretend you've done something you havn't. Yes, it does make you worthless, why say one thing a smart guy that Maddox has said, pretending you did, when you could just say his name and people would be able to find much more of his brilliance.

The perfect family... made by me, burrowed a family picture.
EDIT: Meant to say borrowed, that's how much of a StarCraft fanatic I am.
EDITEDIT: Just because you brought that up ;D The link was tiny and you still should have put his sentence in quotes, since many people unfamiliar with the site will think you made it up.
HAHA, thats awsome. ENCORE

I send this to people with emo names on my contact list on msn. It makes them laugh instead of getting them to change their names, which was my intention.

I'm afraid I don't know who originally took the photo... I think it was Discovery.com or something... sorry =(
The important thing is I made it worth looking at.
Ha, still an instant classic

. Keep up with this amazing randomness

My friend and I got this idea... I decided to draw it.

its ok i accept ur apology

Dont worry It happens to even the best of us.

roffels!
(rofl)
(roflcopter is pronounced roffelcopter)
(now is called roffels)
If you say that "roflcopter" outloud, and you're not just making fun of people on the net then you sir have serious problems. Besides... it would be pronounced rofflecopter (raw-full-cop-ter, which is how I read it... because row-full-cop-ter would just be dumb), it's an english acronym, not a french one =D
No, on a quicktime file that golden-fist posted, he sad rofflecopter, it was tooken out because it was... innapropriate.
LOL!!! thats so sick. lol...
I was just waiting to post this... was I not?
Pffft, it's been done before.
Obviously it has...I never said I was the first one to get it. I'm probably never going to look at it again anyways. Like my 300th post one.

Churros... is there anything better?
