No I didn't. You should also look at the Scourge, it's having what seems like the same problem...
i played it and i built the goliath and it crashed.Just lettinn you guys know so you can fix it^^
The Goliath was working when I posted it... Lemme test a little...
ADDITION:
Goliath works fine. Unless you're referring to the marine thing that looks like a Goliath... Or perhaps some "marines" were trying to attack and it crashed...
i built it and the thing crashed after i moved it.maybe its my comp0_o
Which Goliath?!! The one with the funny crystal thing (the Refractor) or the Marine that looks like a Goliath? And keep trying whatever you were doing on different maps, etc.
the goliath from the factory.
Hmmm... Either you're screwing up somehow, or the MPQ I created is bad... Try making a new MPQ of the directories in the Modded Files folder. Also make sure that, in MPQ Draft, you aren't loading any mods besides this one...
I can't compile the files into a .mpq. Your mac-stuff broke'd it.
ADDITION: To fix the marine just change the graphics (DatEdit 1.3 graphics sub-tab under the units.dat tab) from goliath base to marine.
rrrrr....
There's no way I broke anything. Weapons and Units.dat were edited by Arsenal ZERO, iscript.bin was edited by IceCC 1.2 and a bunch of PCXs were edited by Photoshop. What kinda problem are you having while compiling it?
Anyway, I've rezipped and reuploaded the file. Make sure you are ignoring any folders that have "_MACOSX"
Zip DownloadI think we limited it to making one change sometime earlier... But I don't mind the extra changes.
I ignored the "_MACOSX" folder. When I tried using MPQCompactor to turn the folder "Modded Files" into a .mpq file, it gave me some error and shut down.
Hmmm... Try running a search of the entire archive for files called ".DS_Store" and delete them all...
It was probably crashing because there are to many files to compact. The max file limit i had when using mpqcompactor was 16.Not saying thats the problem but maybe it is?><
Regardless, the MPQ must work since CommanderMoo was able to test it. Therefore, you could just make a new Modded Files folder by reextracting the data from the MPQ. If I make changes again I'll make sure to delete all of the hidden Mac OS files...
What is ".DS_Store" anyway?
Probably some useless file like some of the other files are(atleast to me some are useless).
It's a hidden Mac OS X file that stores metadata information for the directory as well as cosmetic things such as icons, window background images, and window positioning.
Who even uses that? What does it help us with?
...
Windows people aren't supposed to use it. I had remembered (incorrectly it seems) that Mac OS X removes them from directories when it zips them. But they're in all Mac directories and are actually quite helpful at times... Besides, they're invisible for us so why would we care?
They're not invisible for Windoze users. And apparently they screw things up.
@Lord_Jeremy:Remember, only one change at a time. Your's appear to be fine, but remember the limit next time.
I have a copy of the mod before Jeremy changed it. If his version doesn't work, we can revert back to the old one.
It worked, but i dont know why it crahsed when i built a goliath from the factory.(no one else has had that problem

)

I pretty much just merged in some changes from a mod that I discontinued due to lack of interest

@CommanderMoo19: To fix the crashing goliath/marine change the marine graphics back to marine in DatEdit 1.3.
Well is already fixed by now?Ill download it and see.If any of you guys are not having this problem then its just my computer or something.
ADDITION:
OK.I fixed the crash when you build a goliath from the factory(it was crashing me).
