That's what happens when all the people arguing don't realize that flaming the other person back won't do any good.

How about you take on this point of view from now on, don't flame anyone ever, even if they are an idiot and you think they deserve it, you can find more "clever" ways to not flame but get your point across. AND if someone flames you, don't flame them back, hit the report button, and reply in a polite manner asking them to stop. The report should punish them eventually, and the reply will make it known you won't take crap from them, yet you aren't flaming them back either.


See, as much as I think everyone would disagree, I think I had a "similar" situation. It wasn't until the second suspension, I believe, that I did that and I think it has kept me from many flames and possible punishments. That and also refraining from making such controversial topics with so much aggression and assertion.

This man has got it! If you really think the moderators are out to get you, and if they are, give them NO excuses to do anything to you, and then if they do punish you for something they really shouldn't have, they'll have to take it up with me.

If I were ihatett and still wanted to stay at SEN and not get into any more trouble I would just let the past be history and start with a new clean slate.

Okay, it's made even harder by the fact that I can't look through my old posts, and some are in the shoutbox, which I don't want to scour through.

I don't want to waste my night being a tattle. If you think I haven't been flamed, look at any of the threads that I have flamed in, and you'll see I've been called an idiot/dumb@ass/communist/punk/retard/nazi, and in some rarer cases cussed at.

I'm abstaining from doing this because my time is worth more. Again, if you don't believe me, look at any of those threads.

Do you think I have down syndrome? ...I don't see any other way that you could make the assumption that's my reasoning. Let me make it perfectly clear... The melee forum had no moderation for a very long time. We worked things out on our own, and that was fine. As soon as we venture out into other forums we get into trouble. That's the connection I make. I just want an active melee poster moderating in melee. I have no idea if CheeZe will be that person, but why would you hire him if he wasn't? As far as I'm concerned, people who start on a site believing there are loose rules will believe the rest of the site has loose rules. I don't report things to you because quite frankly, I don't get the impression you care.

ihatett may have been flamed, but he provoked many people with flames. It may sound childish to say "he started it" but its really true, and besides, for some people (including me) ihatett really got under my skin. I don't think I have actauly outright flamed him though.

I probably have, once or twice or a dozen times.

Both the person who flamed first and second, and any time after that are to blame. Ihatett may be right that the other people flamed, yet he should also take responsibility for the fact that he has started flames too. I'm not saying he has or hasn't though.

I think the main thing though is that he has a second chance to start a clean slate.

Do you think theres a chance in hell that he's actually going to start clean slate? No, its just the same old ihatett we have here.

Actualy, so far into the topic, he's acted nearly like any respectable member of a community.
And look at Zombie.
He used to be Predianalien, who, I believe, was the first(if not, then one of the first) people to get banned(or was it reach 100% warn?), and he was basically an annoying noob.

Mods cannot catch everything and they aren't everywhere. Thats one of the main reasons we encourage people to use the report button. Thats why I am saying that. It's not ok for anyone to get flamed, but we want people to stop it so we encourage everyone to report it instead of flaming back.

My old signature wasn't over the limit, whoever edited. Either was wesmics, they were both perfectly smaller/on the lines.

I don't see how they can be missed if you read the threads that are reported. There are very few debate threads that I'm not insulted in.

However, like I said I'll just report them when I see them.

Same with Kame, actually.



For myself: I've mainly been in a thread about Reach, so there nothing to complain about.

Oh I'm not just talking about threads where there is a reported post, I'm just generalizing.
