Doesn't have to be an HTML file, it can be a .doc (with Microsoft Word).
I put bookmarks and links all the time.

I attached an example...

A .doc would be more of a hassle since they would have to download it.

That was part of what I was saying;
QUOTE
This way people could use it anywhere, it would be alot nicer, and it could be made neater (in the way that wouldn't have to scroll through everything to find something).

But it doesn't matter, I just thought making it a file with bookmarks and stuff would make it nicer. (I would even be willing to make it a .doc or .htm; I have nothing else to do.)

It needs to be right there, people don't want to download such things; you have no idea how lazy people are. Perhaps both maybe...

Would you care if I made a file for my use then (and who ever else would use it as a file) as long as I make sure it specifically shows you made the actual text?

I woudln't mind in the slightest. Feel free.

Thanks!
...
All done.

EDIT:
For thoes who are interested, here it is. It is the same as the tutorial here, except I fixed a few things (like I had found a missing quote, that kind of stuff; nothing major). and it has links to go to certain parts faster.
Anyways, just extract it somewhere and open it. (If you open the htm file in the .zip the images wont show, but that doesn't matter)

EDIT#2:
Updated file(s).

Thanks Farty, I prefer this because then now I don't have to start up my piece of shit modem to take 210 minutes to find this Tut.

That works... I'll try and keep that file updated. (That font you use is kinda hard to read unless you stare at it for a while..)

I like the style... I'll try Kristen ITC perhaps. A little less cluttered I think.

Nah too ugly.

Ahh, here's a nice font. Is smaller better? You decide.

This is what I want i think.

Thoes look a little nicer, the first one is a little slanted. It doesn't matter. I could just copy it and put it in the Address bar if I have alot of trouble reading it (its what I do to the -1 sized font)

Ill go with Lucida Calligraphy size 4.

You should add one to show how to give units spells; that is what I need.

Not entirely sure how to do that *blushes*. I know how to use MEMGraft but when I try to implement it I start getting errors. I'm not the most Uber modder in the world, just a pretty good one.

Its ok, I made a topic about it. You can learn too from it. (I think yours was similar topic, but I am not sure. So I made my own)

NOTE: If you see a huge list of 'unknowns', you need to implement the MPQ list file.

Umm... How?
Report, edit, etc...Posted by DT_Battlekruser on 2005-05-31 at 20:02:49
It's in the FAQ.

"Help! My StarDat.mpq file is a ton of unknowns!
See this handy tutorial on dealing with this: http://www.starcraft.org/customs/CustomsFA...BeginnersFAQ/67"

How do I get memgraft.qdp plugin to work... when I try to load the plugin, it doesn't load up on the MPQDraft thing....

You can't anymore. Until i add it, BST wrote a good tutorial on how to implement .pat files. See: http://www.staredit.net/index.php?showtopic=15761

This doesn't help, because the file I have is a .mem pinch.gif
Report, edit, etc...Posted by DT_Battlekruser on 2005-06-02 at 21:09:29
Uninstall Starcraft, then reinstall it, but only update to patch 1.10. Then you can use the MEM files.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by BSTRhino on 2005-06-03 at 01:31:27
Actually, if you run any of the StarCraft patchers between 1.05-1.09 then you can downgrade, and then run the 1.10 patcher without a hitch. Only the 1.10 patcher checks your version and does not let you downgrade. It's a little bit faster than reinstalling the whole game.

The patchers I believe are still in the Blizzard's FTP last time I checked, but I'm going to upload them to StarCraft.org as soon as you can.

Is there anyway I could change the .mem file into the proper one?
Report, edit, etc...Posted by DT_Battlekruser on 2005-06-04 at 01:38:16
If you find one tell me. I want to play ORTC...
