A Zerg unit that moves underground and pulls units under. >:)

Perma-cloak the unit, change the GRP so it looks like its moving underground and display its "attack animation" as a sprite.

wink.gif I know that you know that I know how to do more than one ID. You just need to remove a couple of jumps in the code. However, it will allow you to target ALL units the way I've set my test up. Not pretty. Ever see a queen infest everything in sight, only for the game to lock up and crash seconds later....?
Anyway, its actually in units.dat. I'll look into changing what can/can't target, and if there's any way to create a table(There might be something with the AI/Orders Requirements that might help here)

Going on Disciple's Idea why dont we add another morph to mutalisk but instead of his idea we could have it be a mix between dev and gaurd. A stronger mutalisk without the jump. Also we could do a mix in the upgrade of the creep colony. So that it can shoot both air and ground at the same time(like photon) but wont be able to detect anything. we could also put in an upgrade to the zergling(morph two together to create one with 2 heads and 4 claws for more damage and 1.5x health but same speed.

oh yeah before you make this concept art you should get opinions about it first. We need an official listing of all the units that we have decided to put in the mod. The only official one so far is ion cannon but we need a detailed listing. I think 3 units for each race should be good enough. Thats basically what BW got.

I'm thinking maybe we should scale down the Ion Cannon, or switch it to a protoss unit. Why? Because protoss are traditionally the strong and expensive. We should retain that balance.

Pauper, do you mean Project Revolution? They rock.

Pauper, that skin is.... pretty bad. I like the model they made but the skin needs work.

A huge power-suited infantry unit with a large baton.mace/hammer/cudgel type instrument and a plasma-coated shield in the other. Expensive but powerful

Well, still don't have any batteries for the damn camera, but I'm going to repost my concept.

PROTOSS LANCER

Role: Heavy Fighter/Tactical Bomber

Speed: Medium

Air Attack: Tactical Proton Guns (atk: 2x6 cool: 25 range: 3 bonus: 1)

Some ideas, people can build off of them.

Protoss:

Vaporizor: A unit that that can use the beamish things that vaporize entire planets, except weaker. Maybe like an Area Of Effect speel in a radius around them. That'd be pretty cool. It might not even have to be a unit, maybe a spell that you can add to their flyers.

Bomber: This unit would be built from a Stargate, and would use Pulse Bombs to basicly either have a surgical strike (Drop all bombs on one target) or a carpet bomb attack (Drop bombs straight down, making a line of bombs able to kill multiple people).

Terran:

Chemical Nuke: A second nuke that can mutate people into some kind of unit, or maybe like wild Zerg. You could build it from a nuclear silo.

Laser Fence: Basicly, a structure that will shock and kill anyone who comes close, but with a large cooldown.

Zerg:

Behemoth: This monsterous unit, evolved from an Ultralisk(?), would be able to eat units whole. It would work like a dropship, having 8 unit spots to fill up before coming full. Then, either you can drop them infront of enemies or a big force of your own, or wait for them to be digested.

The drawing board idea for starting this was to add one superweapon to each race. The Protoss have a merge of some sort involving area mind control (seem to be working on that one) and nobody has really come forth with one for the Zerg.

Posting the ideas I've seen so far that are solidly plausible and I like.

With Disciple of Adun's revelation, I think some sort of Zerg mutagenic superweapon based off of Spawn Broodling would be interesting...

Aye, it would. Didn't finish posting up new units, will finish later. I'd like to see some test data MPQs for the Ion Cannon though. The test finals shouldn't have the entire mod, just the one modded unit.

Were still in planning stages we need to finish the ideas and make final what units we are doing. But yeah we need more progress, only like a forth of members are active in this forum right now. I havent seen a few people post at all.
