Well we have little generals here who think they know what strategies real armies would use because they play StarCraft and therefore know everything there is to know about strategy.

yes and they also use the term "GG" or "GG, no RM"

and that my friends is the key to becoming a world expert on politics and armies.

The problem with talking about this here is that most of you guys are probably eighteen or less and therefore have only ever had one president you can remember, Bush. For some reason you still feel like you are experts on the subject of Presidents and condemn him. I suspect you're going to be very dissapointed for the rest of your life, unless someone beloved like Kennedy was happens to become President again. Other than a few rare cases, most presidents will never live up to your standards.

Besides, fifty years down the line it's entirely possible Bush will be considered the greatest President ever.

QUOTE
Bill Clinton was a diplomat. Bush is too stupid to be one.

Oh, really? Bill Clinton exercised his fair share of military power, you just never heard about it because it was small things. That and you were probably eight years old at the time.

Kind of like Abraham Lincoln, not necessarily favored by the public, but currently, we look at him as one of the greatest presidents.

I agree with you.

I do think Clinton was a fine president, but I do not like that he didn't take enough action agaist Al Quada, lied to the America people about Monica L., and rather played politics more then serious issues.

But he is still a fine president in my mind.

I feel like Bush is the opposite. The important issues he addresses, he addresses full swing. It seems like only recently this year and last the White House has been more aggressive in defending their actions. Bush's first term it seemed like he didn't care about what the press thought about him. This term seems like hes been more aggressive.

Who else feel that Desperado is a little stuck up for his own good? Christ, he has an agenda to smear me.

Bush will never be favored again. He'll be seen as having both limited rights for a sham of a war and vastly increased America's debt for no good or valid reason. You speak to us as if we don't study history. Some of us actually know that Clinton used force (you're not the only one), but he improved international relations as well. Two that are at the top of my mind are Russia and China, but nope, we might as well label them as being in the "Axis of Evil" now.

Remember, we're on a crusade against Islam! Onward Christian soldiers!

And Desperado, please remember that we might not "be old enough to remember other presidents," but we are old enough to know what a crazy person acts like. Besides, I started paying attention to politics during the '96 campaign, so I do remember a bunch of what Clinton did and how he handled himself.

They don't just stereotype because of our president, a lot of the stereotyping is because of our culture.

then sadly. 90% of america is poor.
Except, its true to all other countries that is.
But what I think Bush was, he was the greatest president in the U.S since 70 years back. what I believe was that the citizens did nothing but support him at start, after the war took place and the citizens and residents noticed the taxes, and rights being taken away they didn't know what was the war like.
80% of citizens dont care about politics, but they seem to hate what the media is telling them to hate. iam not sure if any of them are worth having any rights.

Why is 99% of SeN hating on Bush? If it wasnt for him, There probably wouldnt even be an America right now. Most of the people who are protesting against the war are the people who WANTED war with the terrorists after they hit us in 9/11.

Kingdom of Heaven was a crapty movie purportedly about history and war but it was really nothing but an imaginary love story. It was so bad the movie theatre gave me a free pass to see a different movie.

QUOTE
Remember, we're on a crusade against Islam! Onward Christian soldiers!

Why did 9/11 happen? Why do they hate us? The answer is right in front of everyone, but no one wants to see it.

It is a crusade against Islam, but the only thing keeping us from admitting that is the Christianity prevalent in this country. That is what makes this whole issue so confusing for everyone. People come up with reasons like oil or terrorism but everyone knows in their heart the real issue is Islam, it's just that no one can bring themselves to say it. After all, as a religion it is not much different from Christianity. We have moved beyond the days where it is acceptable to blindly hate an entire group of people, but what happens when an entire group of people really is evil? We can't bring ourselves to admit the possibility.

I have Muslim friends. Do I talk about their religion? freak no, they're crazy as crap. It's a wonder they manage to act normal the rest of the day. Even if you know people who act normal, that doesn't mean they're normal all the time. I would guess more than half the people reading this go through their day pretending to have a conscience, but they don't have anything of the sort. It is the most unfortunate adaptation in the human race I can think of.

Great arguement, except for the fact that the war in Iraq is not the war in Afghanistan and after Bush took office, America has become less secure, not more secure.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by EcHo on 2006-10-10 at 16:41:11
Well even though, its good that Bush checked up on Iraq for those "weapons of mass destruction". What if he didnt check and it existed?
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Voyager7456(MM) on 2006-10-10 at 16:45:15
The president has a responsibility to weigh the probability of a threat before attacking. When almost every bit of intelligence you have is saying that Iraq most likely doesn't have WMDs and you pick out the one or two reports that say something may exist, there's something wrong.

I may have a nuclear bomb in my room, but it is extremely unlikely. What if Bush doesn't invade my house and the weapons actually do exist?
Report, edit, etc...Posted by EcHo on 2006-10-10 at 17:09:31
But its obvious that you might not have it. Bush went with the obvious and he took a chance.

Your logic, excellent. Your facts, wrong. I want to say that the FBI's intel was all wrong, but I can't be certain. Tough to trust the government since Nixon.
