As you might not have noticed I am living in Sweden, I am in second grade of this social science class in senior high with communication and media specialization. In our class it's pretty easy, and not much homework to do, but we often get these projects that we'll work with for some weeks. Some of them you have to work pretty hard, but the major part of it you can make it done in one day and then just slack around for a couple of weeks.

I do all my homework in school. Except for projects. I should probably start trying in Chemistry because I haven't done so well on the tests.

I got lucky in that respect. I have 8 periods of classes, one of them being lunch, and I have 9'th and 10'th period free. Most people have the free periods somewhere in the middle of the schedule. I go home 1.5 hours early smile.gif.

I think I have ADD or something. I can never stay doing my homework for over 10 minutes. Killer Kow, your straight A because 9th grade is easy. I passed without doing anything.

I feel sorry for the new kids coming in Middle School. I heard that they are changing that.

Yeah. My brother just went into Middle School, and they give him large projects every few days and more homework.

Wow, that seems like high school or college.

If you decide to do them seriously, and try to get all A+s, any homework from middle school can vary through 2 hours to 3 hours. Rechecking, etc.
From high school, it gets pretty hectic. I mean, if you decide to go to a good college and have a easier time finding your good job.

My advice is... "Don't think your homeworks a labor; think of it as your work to start earning 40,000$ a month." Now that makes me want to do homework so much more. Or even study killing any other time.

Are you kidding me? I graduated grade 8 on the honour role with a 90% average, without having touched homework the entire year.

At my middle school that was impossible. I graduated Middle School with an average of 96% of entire school year (previous were ~94%), and that's having done 99% of all homework. Or maybe it's just me.. tongue.gif.

Yeah, maybe your just smart. I passed middle school with a 67 average. In high school my average is 70.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Lithium on 2006-10-12 at 19:02:47
No. Middle Schools are easy. and 67 and 70 is nowhere enough to get you a good college with a good job. But no body forces you to go to a good college and nobody forces you to get a good job.
I graduated Middle School with a average of 99%.

My learning anything has nothnig to do with it being a good school. I study outside of school.

My being more intelligent than all the teachers and administration, however, does.

Just do your homework half ass like me. I get like 65s in homeworks but its still passing. Though I have to work on my fullest if I want to go to college.

70 in my school is passing. Our A is 93 and above, We dont get high honors unless you have 95 or above because below 95 is A- which is not good enough. Its crap!

It doesnt work like that for me. I work my ass off and the highest grade I got in this one class is a 72 on a test. Then again the highest is an 84 in the class, with the AP bonuses though it averages to a 90.

I didnt see that, but the fat kid from grandma's boy makes me laugh.

I see that alot of people have different amounts of work. Unfortunately I work real hard and get back less than I would hope in some classes. Whatever. Hey all you young guys, enjoy it now. Homework starts, I promise.

Its cool, that in some of my computer classes, if I dont understand I can just ask someone on SEN and they know it. Someone on SEN must be able to know the question I need! Cheating? No

Homeschooled ftw! I hate History and Writing. I suck at those. And as much as I like math, I take forever to do it.

My school has this annoying way of giving you homework in everything and expecting you to do it, which means I spend half my day homeworking, but we only have class in the morning, so it comes out all right. I do feel that I'm learning a lot, and I've gotten used to it after five years...
