So basically, you won't be taking the time to somehow produce a 'converter' of some sort so then that error won't occur, right?

As I said earlier, if you can send me a map which isn't yet corrupted but becomes corrupted after adding a few strings I can try to recreate this problem. However I dont know of any corruption taking place and have nothing to go on to debug this....

Short of reverse engineering SC, I cant get the overlap to be accurate. Non overlapped strings are already shown in the string editor

When you move the action up or down in the action list, the fiew window is automatically set to the end of the list.

well i like the 0.7.0 version but only thing is can u put for final version as i have said before groups of units and buildings for the triggers like xtra editor only thing i dont like about it other then that i could use 0.7.0 all the time

I know one thing that would be useful for me and anyone who does terrain.
When in the palette Index, if you select one box and hit Shift and click another box it will select those boxes too, so basicly if you want to paint a bridge instead of the doodad you could, just like that. Or if you wanted multiple parts of a Doodad you could take it all at once instead of switching back and forth.

Possible?? Useful absolutely!!

One more thing, enable the mouse scroll in the editor so you can go up and down on the map, yeah i know theres no side to side but the up and down would be useful.

You could also do the scroll click and drag thing too, and that can go any direction too, just make sure the movement isnt too fast, cause it is in internet explorer and firefox.

More suggestions:
-Save the .chk file to an mpq.
-Open a mpq to get the .chk file inside.
-drag and drop maps to SCMDraft to open them.
-File assosiation of maps and .chk files with SCMDraft so just double click and it opens it in SCMDraft.
-being able to use the mouse scroll while in the terrain index.

SCMdraft should definitely have support for more of the hyper players. I have to swith in between SCMD and StarForge whenever I make complicated maps, SCMdraft for terrain andmap properties and SF for units because their arent enough players.

Theres nothing stopping you from typing 210 or something in the player box to change/place units. You're switching to SF for no reason.

Truly i men scm drft is basicly like SF execpt the coding is different and the way all the stuff is set up is different.

Extended units has been possible in Scmdraft since before Starforge even existed.

I think these should added to it:
-Option to see locations while placing units
-Option take a away the aniamation of buildings dieing, its awsome to watch but the some times it gets in the way when you have to wait for it
-Create a platlet that is attack to anything you can instert a text to, this platlet would be just like the Starforge one. The one that should text colors and ahs the bar to copy and paste it. But be cool and make everyone lazy and attempt to add this so when you click it it auto insters it. Or make it so the number pad or number stip corrilates to a color.
-When selecting an add on give the option if we want it a standalone or if it needs the main building to work.
-Then lastly in the terrain platlets give the option to flip everything.

These 2 are already in the current version, just look around in the "Display Options", the two features you are looking for are "Permanent Locations" and "Animate unit death".

Im pretty sure you cant do that cause it wont work in starcraft.

Not sure if this has been asked before but for the next release/patch for SCMdraft
can there be like option in the triggers to add hyper triggers without the actual trigger being there so it could save up space but the hyper triggers are still activated please. biggrin.gif

And even though the tutorials do explain it but could you enhance or in the terrain dropdown box that there is an option to make extended terrain. biggrin.gif
