Those were two different people - the blonde one was Le Chiffre's wife and the brunette was Dimitrios' wife - Ivana Milicevic and Caterina Murino respectively.

I saw it about a week ago. It was one of my favorites definently. I'm really glad that it wasn't as bad as the last one because I'm pretty sure that would put the series into jeopardy more than it was when broccoli (the original director) died.
