How can something (in this case) pisses you off. Thats like saying someone in a race came in first place and you dont want to.

And you are trying to decide who has won, at the beginning of the race.

And whocares about wii's first person controls. Thats something that pisses me off everytime people gloat with it but I still have to deal with it.

Sooo much fanboyism into that post. Okay to clear things off, do you have a Nintendo Wii? Second of all, is barely the beginning of the race on sales. The 360 has been out way more so you cant say anything. Its comparing like a 2 year system to a few months old system. It takes some kind of genius 2 figure out who has more sales.

Plus, when Resident Evil and Metroid Prime have their games out, watch who has better sales. :D

Coming from like a RE fanatic. tongue.gif

Its obvious the PS3 is gonna be winning with the RE5 game. tongue.gif Its gonna be the two new systems and then with the old crummy system in sales.

If you want good graphics don't waste your money on a 360, PS3 WONT even need a new console next gen, 360 will.

Then need a FPS RE game on the Wii wink.gif

You can't be serious... Oblvion = Amazing graphics. Mass effect = amazing graphics. Gears of war = Amazing...

And I dont find RE that appealing. At all even. And Metroid isn't a game that would make me buy a Wii. And I agree, the next gen wars just started. With everyones systems out, a new year will begin.
Wii is a great system, its brand new system is amazing (My friend has one and it's hella fun), but I still prefer 360. The online is mucho grande better, and all the games that are out (or coming out) all seem to be soo much superior to Wii's. And PS3 is garbo.

Are you willing to give me a in depth review on the technical specifications between the XBOX 360 or PS3? Because if you aren't, I will, and I guarantee I will prove your claim wrong.

Developers for the 360 have a huge head start so their games will always look as good as or better than PS3 games, even if the hardware for the PS3 is slightly better.

Resident Evil 5 is coming out on the 360. There are very few console exclusive titles these days.

The 360 sold the most units in the United States, but Wii sold the most world wide during the Christmas season. And that is only because of supply limitations.

For the record, I own a 360 and a Wii. At this point I do not intend to buy a PS3. If you must have Metal Gear Solid or Final Fantasy, go ahead and get a PS3. You can walk into any store and buy one.

I'd like to add that many a hot girl has been seduced into my company with promises of playing with my Wii (pun intended)

However as you do know, 5 years from now, sony will release a service update for the PS3, while 360 jumps to 720.

Its only a matter of time untill the graphics freak console dies, and the fun factor rises again!

Graphics honestly mean crap in a game. Look at StarCraft for example. They suck! But somehow, is one of the most inspiring games I have ever played and I have already mentioned it on 3 essays and a damn graduation test that I somehow got 1 543 outta 600 on O_O

I have yet to see the ps3 in action (other than watching people play at gamestop, or EB), but this is something that seperates the Wii and the 360.

Wii
+Controls, something new and it'll take a while used to but hey better than using an old-style controller
+Graphics are nice
-Wrist straps were very bad at first, but it became better (still though, testing can still happen..)
-Not many games so far
-Very dangerous. If you plan on destroying your TV on purpose, buy this system! My cousin broke his lamp from playing tennis, he cut his finger and had to get 5 stitches (something like that).

Xbox 360
+Controller is still the same as the original xbox, which is fine because it still gives you that feel of playing the same xbox, with better graphics, newer, cooler games, etc.. etc..
+Charger w/ Controller. You really need this.
+Faceplates (they cost 20 bucks, but if you would like to stick with orginal, forget about it.)
+Good games, good amount of them in (when you purchase).
-When renting the games, they are so good that you can't find a copy in your nearest video store
-Wired headsets break easily. I remember when I pulled the headset up the headset's wire got in the way of something and it tore the wire, thus making me buy a new one.
-I had to send my 360 in for repair for the dangerous 3 red lights (or 4 I think, it was a long time ago)

See, I there may be lots more pros and cons about the systems, but hey we all got opinions, and we should all respect that.

However, since my opinion is somewhat of use in this topic, I would rather have the 360 then the Wii.

It's service update isn't going to change it's hardware, which are the real limitations on what it can do.

Uhh, "graphics honestly mean crap in a game"
Aren't you the one defending the PS3 and how its graphics are better than an XBOX 360?

How can this be a negative point? oO
If i hit you with a XBox on the head, it's also very dangerous. If you drive your car into a river, it's dangerous.

Maybe people should be a little more carefull and use some common sense... pinch.gif

I agree with this. That is why I prefer some of the old classic games to the new and good graphic games. A game is based on play and how well it is put together. The graphics just make a game more interesting.

The whole "Wii Remote Destroying Stuff!" thing is such bullcrap, unless you have downs or you are truly just a BIG idiot, it's really hard to break something with the Wii. It's just something to put more negative attention on nintendo.

Yeah Lyon you are right. It really is negative attention drawn onto nintendo even though the wii manual states you should be careful when playing around objects or people. My friend was playing wii and he almost broke his T.V.

Dear anyone who has let a controller fly through the air on accident,
Don't let go of the wiimote while waving your arms! It tends to fly through the air!

And blaming Nintendo for misuse of their product is liking blaming a gun manufacturer making a gun used in Columbine. Legislation says a gun manufacturer cannot be held responsible for the misuse of it's product. The same should apply to almost everything, which would render many silly lawsuits obsolete.
