My computer is connected directly to the router instead of wirelessly. The only reason I have a wireless router is for my laptop, Wii, and PSP or for anyone else I know who wants to use the connection when they're at my house (which is surprisingly common).

Mine too, doesnt it give you a better connection? The only things connected wirelessly to the router are my dad's comp and my comp upstairs (which has a screen that stays black even though the light says its on..)
