would arrive at their destination without losing any time, because we measure time by the speed of light. This is really hard to explain, so I would suggest reading the book, "The Elegant Universe" before you make accusations on how time is measured and such. It is a really handy book to read.

I'm sorry if it came off in any negative manner, but I did not make any "accusations" regarding time...lol...

Before I say anything else, I must also point out that every one of these theories all depend on a root theory, how the universe exists. The most commonly taught ( I think) is that the universe is a rapidly expanding sphere, with space as we know it on the surface of the sphere, in which case, circumnavigation would be possible. However, theres also Superstring theory, the big balloon theory, etc, etc etc.

The problem with these kind of debates is the source of information. For every theory/hypothesis that is ever thought of, and something written about it, there will always be at least another five people/sources devoted to disproving it. This makes it very difficult to decide what to believe, and really, what is "the truth." Which brings me to another point: Noone really knows "the truth." There are the most commonly believed thoughts, and there may be someone with an idea that is potentially similiar to the full truth, but every theory has a few odd quirks that just dont fit in quite right. For all we know, even the most basic fundamental laws of Physics, brought up with the help of good ol' Newton, may be completely false.

After doing some quick googling, according to several (mostly) credible sources, I've read that light-speed travel is both possible and completely impossible, along with circumnavigation of the universe, evolution, and Elvis's death. (Okay, I made that last one up tongue.gif ) But now I'm all tuggered out, and don't feel like writing anymore. Im gonna go go play some KoL w00t.gif

Hopefully you mean any star besides the sun. That would be VERY off.  tongue.gif

another theory is that for every thought, another universe appears.

Hehehehehehe. Yes, "us" meaning our solar system.
