This is the right thing to do coz many hackers are creating a dismantler or unprotector in the newest versions of protectors it is good to stay up-to-date.

I use an old unprotector for the purposes of examining triggers but I NEVER would release an uprotected version of a protected map. We need to be wary and keep up on the lastest unprotectors so that they can be countered.

I do the same, and I have my own ways of hexing them back to normal. Even though I don't think any map should be locked, it should all be open for anyone to see, I respect other peoples opinions on the matter and wouldn't release a previously locked map.

I don't worry about map stealing that much but I respect other people and their needs for a better map protection.
