Personally, I only rate their PERSONALITY; or how they act. I don't care of "that guy makes nothing for SEN so its a big ZERO!!1" kind of things...

Besides, I voted 10 on members I was sure they were good guys, I'm waiting on a later date to rate anyone else. That way, they won't know what I voted for them

I rate people on personality too. I dont give everyone a 10 (like what people have done to me ). Only the people I truely really really like got 10s. Other than that, it varies (sometimes 9, 8, 7, or whatever). No one got lower that 6 so far here

I still have to decide to put lower than 5 or not ;P. That's why I'm waiting (*coughastercoughshrimpycough*)

Commitment occupies about 5% of my judgement, take Chu, for example. He's a [insert very bad word here] to me and even though he might have been of a great help, I don't care; he was a [word here]... Oh well

Why does it round all the rateings to the nearest 10%? I think it should be atleast to the nearest 1%

No idea. The coding looks like it rounds it off, but im not totally sure.

LoL maybe you should have it "look" like it rounds off to the nearest .1% then if for some reason it moves the decimal then it will move it to where you want it to be. Not that i know anything about codeing php lol

Also i hope that it remembers what everybody rated instead of averageing each additional rateing to average of the rest. (lol only way i could of tested that would be to like rate you a 1 and see how far down it goes down)

I suppose that its there because if you're a jerk at first, but you want to get a high rating, you can always get 100 again if you aren't a butt.

I think who did the rating shouldn't be logged. I'm afraid to rate because they'll ##### it was low and then rate me low back. "OMFG MOOSE GAVE ME AN HONEST OPINION INSTAED OF A TEN WAHHHHH!!11"

What will it change, other than the fact that you were actually honest and told him your oppinion? I don't quite think it's better than hidding things from others. That's exactly what happened to be over SSC, I do not doupt MM also hates me "in secret" (don't care about the reasons either =P)

I think the whole system kind of sucks lol, But it doesn't bother me, yes i now have 90% stuck to my name and I know Dark Templar rated me a 8 for that to happen, yet i don't even know who he is but I can ignore it.

I think a better system would be to give like every member 10 points per week, They could then give those points out to Members of there choice, no more than 5 per member, and none to themselves. And at the end of the week if they gave no one points they would be erased so they can't build up more than 10 points during times they are inactive. Anyways this would only show the positive side of things.

With the rating if a person rates some one a 8 or lower it might be considered a negative rating, Yet if they have one number of points that they have accumulated all they can see is such and such has rewarded them with X points. Well this most likely won't happen but it would be cool. I think

If you want everyone to rate you a zero, just start rating everyone a zero. It's that simple.

While true, I would suggest against that.

First, I'm not evil and I don't want to rate other people unless they are a good friend, or just plain evil. If I vote right away, then I may be placing myself into a position where later I may consider them a great friend.
Second, acting like a child?? Where did that come from??? I mean, this whole thing is kinda stupid, and acting like a child is when other people think of someone bad when they don't even know them, that is acting like a child. Also, rating me down is different from hating me. I am asking people to rate me down, because then they all know me and I stand out. Being the same is boring!
