I say ammount of members working on the map shouldnt count, if the clan can produce a better map with less members than the other, then it shouldnt matter.

No matter what the outcomes of this "competition" are, it still doesn't mean you have the best map making clan. If you just judge by the way your members make maps then your just seeing who can make the best map. Maps don't make clans, the members do and how the clan treats others and themselves. I think your completely wrong about the best map = best clan shit. You could have a clan of the best map makers in the world and it still doesn't mean there the best clan, especially if they lack respect for others.

For one, since you have changed your opinion of what 'makes' a clan several times, I think your opinion is irrelevant.
Another thing, the "Best Clan" is an incentive, guess you do not have enough leadership skills to see through that fact.

I assume Clan Oo will probably enter something, but I wont help. No matter what we do, people will still recognize us as a bounding clan regardless of this little contest.
Besides, how can everyone judge on one map to represent the clan? If a clan is supposed to be composed of many members (in this case many map makers), then how do 4 members take on the responsibility of making a map for the whole entire group? I just see a lot of flaws in this and I feel that every map the clan makes should go into the judgement, not just one.
Furthermore, if I were to admit that Oo.Hydra.oO, Oo.Snipe.oO, and Oo.Solar.oO were helping me on Monopoly and it turned out to be a great map, would the greatness of that one map overcome the bad connotation that comes with an Oo name? I doubt that stigma will leave us so easilly...

Even if Monopoly turned out to be the greatest map ever, you wouldn't be allowed to enter it in the competition, and possibly get disqualified. You broke the rule, "No one outside the clan can see it," and "No help from any other clan or public."

My point was that this contest wont change anything. Oo will still be called a newb-clan.
And then again I could just copy the trigs and essentially remake the same map with Oo members. Thus it wouldn't matter that anyone not in Oo has seen "Monopoly A" when we'd be making "Monopoly B". There's no way to enforce that rule.

Maybe I can enter by myself as my own clan... , abliet my old clan tag is from 4-5 years ago and long defunct, hehe. Anyhow the no public rule is dumb... good map makers have trusted testers to help get fresh ideas into the map making process and get good feedback. If the only people working on a map are the makers they'll be more likely to not see problems in it.

You can not submit more then one map, however, the only case that allows this if its a series of maps such as a scenario ... or a really really really long RPG =P
I left the genre of the map open, it doesnt have to be multiplayer.
I have decided, you do not have to do the map log, but you will be taken off a considerable amount of points for organization. (It's one of those things your teacher makes you do that will help you in the long run.)

Okay well we put are log in this and is it okay if i put what each member did inside the Brief or Intro or something and also how going to know if people are cheating or not cause they could already have a map ready and put just make up what people did or something

But seriously, anything that puts you lazy ass clans to use is a good thing IMO. I hate clans that exist only for their own sake; reputation and such. If you arn't doing anything, you don't have a reason to exist.
Of course, if that same applied to humanity, there wouldn't be much of us left. Meh.
