What are the mineral amounts on those doors into the bases? If they are like 8 or something that adds a new intricacy to meleeing that I've never seen before other than on islands to prevent CC floating.

Coulee sux. Paradox is ok.

But some of our maps are much better than those.

Paradoxxx is hell for zerg, but so many great games have come from that map (including the best game ever, boxer vs joyo).

I don't know if Coulee is really an island map, you can scout with mannar pylon. What if it's a 2vs2 shared base melee map? I only mention it because I had already put an idea together about it and made parts of it.

Yea, when I first heard it being called an island map, I was suprised. I guess it's because you can't be attacked.

I suppose, but you can still expand, and if the other player does the same it's remotly possible. I always thought it was sort of an option between ground or island, like some people though Jacobs Ladder (rediculously unbalanced Blizzard map) was.

Where can I download some of these games? And not the movies, please. The actual replay.

Replays were never released. But it's more fun with the vods, because the announcers go insane.

Then I can settle for the movies, I guess. Where can I find the "vods?"

I've now uploaded 4 of my best maps to the contest... everything was in german, didn't understand a shit but think I did good.

Anyway when will the actual competition start? Where can I follow my maps progress..

Coulee i think, is better than Paradoxxx, but im not a big fan of either map.

Is paradoxxx used in any tournaments?

I wish there were more Melee map making contests.

I think SEN should have one and the winning map could be used for melee tournament.

a map like coulee would be o.k.
the list is more a suggesting list for the mappers, that tells for what kind of maps we're looking.

Hey guys, i just wanted everyone to know that June 2nd is coming quick, just a few days away...

I hope my maps are complete by then... If not, will we have this next year?

Will it be possible to further tweak or finish up your maps more when the competition has started? I though the contest would start much sooner so I sent in my maps very early.

How much time will this take to select the best maps? And what will it give to the map maker if his map is chosen?

Didnt get to finish mine... I had no comp access with SC for a week.

I think it would have done well. When i finish ill post it, its my best by far.

I think the judging will be a very tedious process since I believe the judges will have to play games on every single map... I think
