I think they'd be forced to make a patch against their will, if it did get out. They would lose face if they didn't, even though it wouldn't directly make them any money.

Blizzard already knew about the base hack before DK even had a chance to experiment with it, and have been told about this version. I cant say more than this.

Imho, the hack authors / testers aren't releasing it publically any time soon. It was just an advice to Blizz' about the current possible exploits to the game, warning'em to fix things about it the blunt way. This way, it just might get fixed. 
*Pondered 'rant'* I'd like to also advise to anyone not to post any further intel (info) on how it was pulled, eventually to edit their own posts to remove possible tips that could lead the way to giddy and less strick fair play/honoured gamers so they won't have a clue on how it was made.
Edit add: Following the same rule, from now onwards, anyone who'd post information on how to get it done/accomplish such misschevious action(s) should at least be temp' banned from SEN to learn that "criminal acts don't pay".

i have seen this, and watched the replay, and it just makes me sick.

They are... read the EULA, the extended editors, like Xtra, StarForge, and SCMDraft are technically illegal (unless General Mengsk, Hemidal and SI all asked Blizzard for permission for making them and received a 'yes').

Lmao, ÐK. I can't believe people take some bored hoodlum like you this seriously... but I guess what happened are pretty damaging to SC as a supposedly well-made game. What you did may be "illegal" in the EULA, but come now, this is what network security people do to their own companies to find flaws. Next time, though, I'd suggest you at least email SOME of the glitches you find directly to Blizzard. Maybe they can hire you when you're old enough. Or maybe they'd jail you as soon as you're old enough, whatever.

I have nothing to say but I never play melee games with people i dont know anyway.
Also, they wont want to use it in UMS because that doesnt help them in winning much. (Sometimes.)

All I can tell you is that there is a total of 8 people that have this hack, I will not exchange their names for the privacy reasons but I can tell you that all the people that have it can be trusted and the hack will not be spread over the battle.net.
