The point is to try and avoid banning until it becomes a last resort. There is no reason to ban unless rules are broken excessively, and to an extremity. But from what we see, those boundaries have not been crossed yet. By locking those threads and trying to keep you guys from fighting, we're trying to make sure you don't pass those lines. Where this boundary is, is completely up to you. But what we think these boundaries should be is up to us as a whole.

ok i have an idea for Mp) forums. Make a Garbage Topic (not pinned that way it doesnt make a load of pinned topics, and secondly it reduces spam), and make it so that everytime there is spam merge it with the "Garbage Topic" so that way itll help reduce spam. It'll also help people if they're bored and they want to look at nonsense so they can get some good laughs. This is just an idea though.

Yea I did that with another topic before. Didn't seem to work because the topic title didn't turn out to be "garbage" and people just made new threads.
