Um, no. It doesn't. Kingdom Hearts is a ripoff. They added Disney Chars to get the game to sell better.

And this is a movie thread. Not a game one disgust.gif

good point! does that mean toystory DOeS count!!!??
Report, edit, etc...Posted by DT_Battlekruser on 2005-09-07 at 19:33:06
Rofl, Pixar films are in NO WAY made by Disney. Disney distributes them, which means they put their name all over and take all the credit and money. The films are Pixar, NOT disney (how else are they so good?).

I like Mulan, only true animated Disney movie I own, Japanese rock

QUOTE(Kame da Sniper @ Sep 6 2005, 08:48 PM)
It was manufactured in America under the Disney ensignia, but its still Miyazaki's studio's work. I forgot the name of his studio...it has the totoro!

Yeah his work seems to be the only socially accepted anime films just because Disney Manufactures it. If you go to a video store the anime section, if they have one at all is usually small and hidden in the back. (in the case of the Local Hastings where i live right next to the porn section) Except Miyazaki's work is mixed with the rest of the stuff.

And yet it did not go anything close to the actual storyline.

Real thing: going to war for 18 (or something) years, not being discovered until much later, after being recongized as one the gifted soldiers, in her home when her fellow soldiers came to see she was dressed in women's clothes.

Bet you guys didn't know that.  happy.gif

Interesting, i bet the girl wasn't hot like Mulan. She would have to be pretty manly looking to pass as a guy for so long along with a bunch of men.

Wait, a Japanese team made a movie about a Chinese girl joining the Chiniese army? Because Mulan is Chinese...

Most of the stories that disney films base off are much darker.

Best Disney Movie of all time = Alice In Wonderland.

Gotta love how the book is written to expose the fallacies of government happy.gif

It was written by a guy high on lsd and various other drugs.

The book, no. LSD was not synthesized by that time. That didn't become Synthesized until 1942 or 43.

Other drugs... Possibly.

But if you read the book, you will actually understand wtf he was talking about. Same if you watch the movie carefully.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Kow on 2005-09-09 at 21:50:05
He was still on drugs when he wrote it anyway.

Why can't we read THIS stuff in school? We're stuck with Teh Old Man and Teh sea. It had no point. He went out, fought fish, catch, sharks eat, come back w/ skeleton. The end.

The alice in wonderland movie was......bizzare, the catipillar's pipe clearly doesn't contain tobacco, yet its a childrens movie.... How bizzare.
The book is also rather strange, I have a fully illustrated copy with about as much text in the footnotes as in the actual book.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by MillenniumArmy on 2005-09-09 at 22:15:52
I cant remember anything about Alice in Wonderland other than the very beginning where alice follows this retarded looking rabbit into some hole and ends up in some lala land. I also remember this purple stripped cat and some evil Queen or something at the end.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by The_Shattered_moose on 2005-09-09 at 22:26:34
Alice in wonderland is a very very very surreal read, although in my opinion its worth it, but only if you have a copy with extensive explanations of what the occurances in the book are supposed to represent.
