I wasn't saying that EUDs were directly responsable for this patch, what I meant was they'd probably given blizzard a sort of "wake up call" to starcraft. Or maybe they just led to them hiring a few new people to patch. I was just throwing out a guess as to why blizzard has increased the frequency of patching so much.

I don't think so. I think they're trying to fix all the bugs now that WOW is basically out and thriving. They're just patching up some glitches for us for the long wait of Starcraft 2

Hacks are going to be coming at us relentlessly. Even when they come with new patches, the idiots out there will write up hacks that work around the patches. Like someone said, It's a war between new technology and the growing number of idiots; the idiots are winning.

I wouldn't say all hackers are "idiots". There are a lot of hackers out there (some I know) that hack only to protect their own security. Like a library lets say. They find a glitch, work countless hours to exploit it, and when they manage to, they leave it and email the webmaster. Because it's their own security that is at stake too, they want the reassurance that someone can't make all their books overdue by 100 years, or something. Hackers are some of the most intellegent people in soceity as well that you can find. No, I, you, nor many other people don't approve of them releasing these hacks or actually exploiting these issues against people, but don't forget not all hackers actually do that.
