cool i can tell you worked hours on the buildings. but one thing that i dont like is how everything looks the same. maybe you can make the buildings differenet colors or something i dont know but nice job

Yes, you are in. But even after finishing basic stuff up, I won't be able to release demo because there are no tool yet released that can protect my map.

*Proedit doesn't support my 16bit sounds. Deletes all sounds.
*Uber@tion corrupts my map because of the terrain. Legacy is working on it so I hope to get some results soon.

Everything in the screenshots looks very simular (referring to the structures). I seggest you go back and do some sprite placing and some more creativity to give the city more of a "not-so-alike" effect. Best of luck.

I think the cars and all of that are good but this is going to need a lot of work done to it according to how the screen shots looks so far

Well you can use different terrain palatte, even though its gonna be little blocky with other sqaure block. and, adding sprite to to buildings would help since it looks like you have no sprite in the whole map.

Oh yes I will place sprites of course. I will do it on the final steps of my map.

I will think about different buildings and post some screens later.

ADDITION:
Ok I am still thinking about how to make buildings more different. Please post some ideas.

Testers are now testing my beta. I have done almost everything except any quests. I will also add new features even after the 1st public release biggrin.gif .

Err...How many locations do you have left? biggrin.gif So far everything is good, Carjacking worked fine, Running Over People & Getting Money worked and the weapons biggrin.gif But are the gang members suppose to keep killing the civs? Also, did the enter/leave buildings command work?

Yes gangs are supposed to shoot civs because there are no neutral player except p12 and p12 can't run AI. So I made civs to cop player. I have 7 locations left cry.gif . And you can get on buildings with open doors.

^Yeah you are right. I was always better at triggers anyway. All 3D buildings is a good idea though, the only reason I didn't do that is because I've never made more than one or two of em.

cry.gif nooo.. I guess the map wont have any quests..unless you take some car locations out...Either way the map is good!! biggrin.gif Car jacking has no errors..weapons has no errors..running over ppl and getting cash has no errors.. tongue.gif I love the sounds lol..

I got some questions though..
Does the enter/exit buildings work?
Are the gangs suppose to kill random people like that?
Some of the containers near the dock area arent invincable..

Umm..I gotta think what else i was gonna ask..back to testing..

There are 2 ways how it can work.

*1st gangs shoot random civs.

*2nd gangs don't shoot at civs but don't shoot at cops ether. And you want them to shoot at cops when you got to wanted lvl 4 or 5!

You can't actually get in buildings. You can get on building roofs. But you can only get on those buildings that have open doors.

Thanks for the containers. I have already fixed few bugs about weapon changing but I can't find legacy. I will give you next beta after few days biggrin.gif .

Have you tried to incorporate Home Invasions? I did em and they're pretty easy to add, but they would probably take ur last 7 locations sad.gif

I had one mission in my last gta map where the son of your contact was drafted into the army and he orders you to annihilate Area 99 because of that.

Oh and you should also use my idea of Soda/Snack machines. I used the Zerg egg and the zerg lurker egg for the vending machines.

OH and one more thing. In my map, I had a property where you could store your vehicles. This is a good idea, but it would also eat up your locations.

^ The reason I had a garage is because your cars got towed if you left em on the streets too long!

I use eggs to show respect levels.

I have parking lots so car storing isn't a problem.

I'm pretty sure he means when you can enter houses and steal stuff like in GTA:SA. IT was cool, and you had to return back to the hideout with the stolen junk. It was pretty fun. Also, is there alot of enterable houses, and will there be gang wars? wink.gif

Ok, try this:

a) open door - can enter [attachmentid=14378]

b) closed door - can't enter [attachmentid=14379]

Also seems like I will be able to add few missions but because I have least locations I will took time. Next beta will have from 1 to 3 missions to test. I have also fixed a lot of bugs after the fist beta biggrin.gif .

ADDITION:
I am having problems with SCMDraft lately it crashes all the time when I try to delete some old conditions, so next beta may delay even more. However I have finished 1st mission. Also I made a nice world map for you all.

you should try to do something to make your systems more effective so you can have more locations for missions. but so far your map and the other gta map thats coming out look awsome.

Well, only system that I can take some locations from is traffic(about 120 locations used). But I made it so it is logical traffic not just pure random. It means that cars won't suddenly turn into opposite direction. If car comes from one side it will most likely continue it's way or turn 2nd way. It can also go back but it have to make a little cycle like on real road. Cars usually don't stay on they side of the road but they keep their direction and doesn't suddenly change their direction. This costed me 3 locations on T type turn instead of 1. I like it this way.

Also I didn't plan to expand to far into missions. I think that it will be max 5 on a gang that is 10 missions. Each player will be able to complete all 10 missions. As this will be basically multiplayer map then 10 missions are enough...

*Fixed mayor bug with weapon change
*Added car enter sound
*Added car exit sound
*Added mine set sound
*Added "Pay & Spray" sound
*Fixed and overdone almost all kills-to-cash system. May still have bugs though.
*added 3 missions for Zaibatsu. (More coming soon, may come slow because of the location lack)
*Fixed small spelling
*Fixed few more small stuff that Mckeoms reported
*added cop killar bonus after 50 cop kills
