I don't even know enough about "goth" or "emo"(music, fashion, or personality) to know if there are any at my school, though I do know that there are none that I recognize at such.

What I don't know is why wrist-cutting is inherrantly bad or stupid. As Kow said, who gives a crap what they do to themselves if it doesn't effect anyone else and they don't try to advertise it?

Many people look emo at my school, maybe almost half the school looks like one. But I don't know how many actually are.

There's a girl that I know, is an emo, sickning music by the way, is all she listans to. However, I understand her position, her dad cheated on her mom, and now they went from mid/high class to a cheap townhouse. quite a quick transition. What i'm getting at is, she is an ugly...***** with all her make-up on. But, she's absolutly beautiful with no make-up on, how she looks, and as a person. What i'm saying is, looks are quite deceiving. Don't judge books by their cover, unless your making fun of them....or your evil

Unfortuanately, most do. I once knew someone who got so bad at cutting them selves, they slit the back of their leg at the knee so deep you could see the muscle and did nothing about it. We eventually forced her into the hospital though.

Okay, first off, emo's aren't cutters. Cutting and being emo is different altogether. To (really) be emo is to embrace depression, which is a bad idea altogether. Cutters are just people who cut themselves because they had a blamty life. I know a cutter, she's still with me to this day. I haven't been able to convince her to stop, but I have been able to slow her down a bit. So yes gaurdien, you should try and help her. In the end, she has to make the choice, but who gives a ? You should help anyway.



Well that's an idiotic approach to it. Think for a second, or atleast take 2 minutes to go and check. The reason is because it relieves overwhelming pressure. The pain doesn't matter as much to them because it takes away the pressure in their head, where it REALLY hurts. Most cutters aren't emo because they don't embrace their situation. Try not to mix up the two.
